Where to find a certain version of a book cover to buy?

Okay, so I fell in love with the Maximum Ride series, and I want to buy the books. But, on most of the covers, there are people on it and I dont like that version.It looks like this:

see what i mean? the other one just looks cooler:) oh, and if possible, i would like to buy it off a website or store that is well known, like amazon or barnes and noble.No sketchy websites. Thanks in advance!!!
