My sister is 13 and she was at Barnes and Noble today, she wanted to get the book "Amy, My Daughter" by Mitch Winehouse. She's a big fan of Amy's music, as am I. But, my mom won't let her get it because she's not sure if its suitable for a 13 year old. It's because it's supposedly a negative book with a tragic ending. If kids can watch shows with drugs and go to drug awareness classes, why shouldn't my sister be allowed to read a book that most certainly DOES NOT encourage drug use, but shows the outcome? Would you let your 13 year old read it?
