Facebook won't display comments or likes on Nook Tablet?

I browse the web on a Nook Tablet and a week or so ago, Facebook stopped displaying likes and comments-not just on my own posts but on everybody's.

I get the notifications when something happens, but they're just not there when I go to them.It works fine on my phone, but not on the e-reader.

I tried changing the browsing mode, tried deleting my cookies and the browser cache, tried visiting the site through "https" instead of "http", changing my privacy settings-nothing.

Any help?

Which is better? Kindle Fire or a Nook?

Hey guys! Christmas is coming soon and my dad and I want to get an e-reader for my mom. She loves reading, but she's not very "techy". I know she'll want something easy to figure out and use. She wears glasses, so probably something where you could change the font size. And, she'd probably prefer internet access, but it's not neccessary. What kind of kindle or nook should I look at for her? Oh, we don't want to spend over $300 either. Thanks! :)

What's a good publishing company for authors without agents?

I recently wrote a novel (I plan to make it into a series) and just thought I would send it to a publisher to see what would happen, but all of the major publishing companies require the author to have an agent. I'm not willing to get one currently because paying an agent really isn't an option right now. I also don't want to have to pay a fee to publish it, although that should be a given. And I would prefer it to be a fairly well known one as well, or at least one that gets books into good stores like Barnes and Noble. I don't expect to make a lot of money off my book - especially since it's not going to be published by a big company - but I would like at least a few people to read it. Or if a big publishing company is having a time frame for agent-less authors to send in their manuscripts (like HarperVoyager did in October) then please tell me that as well.

Kindle vs Nook? Which is better?

I'm really interested in getting an e-reader, but I know absolutely nothing about the features and how one compares to another. I'm looking online for information about them, but I want some personal opinions as well. Can anyone let me know which brand is better? Are they bad for your eyes?

I'm going to college next year, and I've heard that the Kindle has some features that college students can really utilize.Is that true?

How to organize my screen on nook HD?

To put all my apps and items on the screen instead of in the corner that I can scroll through. I see it in a commercial and it looked all pretty lol .

On my nook I get a security certificate warning?

Trying to login to my email and I get a security warning that the certificate is not from a trusted authority. The certificate is issued to *.ad.yieldmanager.net.Is it safe to continue?

What can i do for volunteering or a job?

I tried applying at target, noodles and company, subway, kowalskis, barnes and noble.

my volunteering experience is just the library.
I live in eagan mn i want to do more but i dont know what to do since my parents wont listen and my family is having problems what do i do? im sad about it.

I can try at my church and other places but i cant find anything.
plus my dad doesnt trust online websites.

Is it just me or are they insane? i feel like they only care about themselves right now.
