Nook Tablet. TextNow, Google Api?

I have an 8GB Nook Tablet. I downloaded an app called TextNow. When I open it, it says "Not using Google api! Push will not work!" Which means I cant read really long texts. How do I fix this? THANKS!:)

So I bought a Japanese manga from barnes & Noble called "Flowers of Evil".
I left it inside the closet on top
I check back a few days later and I see that the the cover is curved open as if someone has read but no one in my house is interested in that sort of thing
Does the cold damage it?

What is the best tablet or e reader out right now?

Im looking to get my boyfriend for his birthday a good tablet or e reader he loves to read books I use to have a nook but then gave it a way to a family member but I really liked mine so im thinking something like that but my nook froze alot but it was one of the first generation it needs to be a good price no more then $200 so here is me asking what is your opinion in the best e reader or tablet benefits and features and why its your favorite

My nook says user not activated when I try to read a book?

I rent my books from the public library and dowload them onto my nook and today it wouldn't let me read them. When I clicked on a book it said "error dialog, user not activated." I tried getting a new book and that doesn't work as well. Can anyone help?

Okay, i think i better start off by saying that i own a cat and a rabbit, of which the rabbit lives in the garage, and the cat at nights! I don't often bring my rabbit inside, but i give him the love and affection he needs where he is. Anyway ever since i bought him (about 3 months ago) he had a little black bug crawling around his fur, it would appear but then disappear when i'd try to pinch the little bugger with my finger nails. Anyway i had my rabbit in one afternoon a few days back, it was for about 3-4 hours, and i wonder if the whatever it was, was transferred onto my bed sheets? Around about the same night, if not one after, i started getting, what looked like, heat bumps on my legs, kneecaps, had a few on my arm, and one on my stomach, mainly being around my ankle/leg. I just thought that they were heat bumps, but over the past day, i've realised that, these so called bumps can't be heat bumps because they are way too consistent and frequent. I just walking into my bedroom and sat down, put my laptop on my knee and thought i'd just check a few things, and i can feel this funny tingling on the inside of my thigh, i look under where my laptop is, and this little flea jumps from my thigh to my arm. I took no hesitation to pinch him up put him on a piece of paper and kill it.It's definately dead now! I'm just asking, if there's one, will there be a high chance there is any more? I know the next step is too probably wash all my bed sheets, dry them, and hoover ever nook and cranny there is, just for safe measures! Just asking for an opinion off of someone who is experienced and knows what there on about? I know usually when there's one, there's a hundred more, but this is the first one i have seen! I'll sleep tonight, and see if there's anymore bites on me tomorrow, if not then a good sign hey?

How to get An App Off The Web Onto My Nook?

I got a nook for Christmas yay and I was wondering how do you change your settings on the nook to be able to download apps from online and not just the nook store. I have this free ebook app on my phone that I got off the web and I love it! But when I go to download it too my nook it says the download can not be completed and I have to change my download settings and I don't know how to do this. I had to do the same thing for my phone and i figured that out myself but the nook and andriod are so different. Please help!
**note the app I am trying to download is off the web not the andriod store or the nook store. I'm not an idiot.

I click on calender, it says I need to add a calender account. When I click add account and type in a email and password then the next button it says i have no serve connection? What does this mean? How can I set up the calender?

The question says it all. I am learning Korean, and would like to purchase a copy of the original Coffee Prince novel online, yet I can't find it! A link or guide would be much appreciated as I want to use it to see if my reading and translating skills are good enough. Also, recommendations for good books in Hangeul would be greatly taken too.
