Where to buy cheap manga online?

I usually get them at barnes and noble when I go to Bakersfield but they don't have much choices and they're really expensive. I've tried Amazon but the shipping is expensive too. Where can I get them for like 4$ and cheap shipping???

Where can I find Western ebook torrents or the Executioner Series ebook torrents?

Does anyone know where I can find Don Pendleton's Executioner Series torrents, or any old time Westerns torrents? I'm getting my grandpa a Nook for Christmas and I'm trying to find some of the old books that he likes to read to put on there for him. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What does this dream about stealing mean?

Last night I had this dream that I was at a Barnes and Noble bookstore. I was walking through rows of books and on top of the bookshelves were large bowls. Underneath each bowl was a bunch of money… a lot of cash and coins. Even though there were a lot of people around me, I took the money and put it into my purse. I kept trying to find the exit so I could leave but the bookstore became a maze of even MORE rows of bookshelves with money on it. I kept taking the money and I kept trying to escape but the bookstore became a maze that I couldn't find a way out of. What could this mean?

Why does it take so long to receive used books from the Barnes and Noble website?

I often purchase used books from book dealers listed on the Barnes and Noble website. Besides paying for the book, I also pay shipping charges. Shipping varies on whether book is paperback or hard cover. Many times I wait three weeks or sometimes a month or more before I receive book. Why is shipping time so slow for these dealers. A lot of times they will show book was sent out immediately. Yet buyers still have to wait weeks before book comes in.

Can my apartment owner remove an unpaid pet from my apartment without my permission?

2 days ago, everyone in my complex was notified that maintenance crews would be coming around between a certain time to install new smoke alarms. Now, our apartments allow pets, but you have to pay a 50$ per month fine.So I bought a baby corn snake recently, and have his cage all set up in the living room. The maintenance guy comes, and goes, and I go on about my day. I don't remember if I saw the snake that night in his cage or not.

But the next day, I noticed the snake was missing, and the lid was still on the top. Its not a very heavy lid, but I suspected that my baby corn may have grown strong enough to push the lid up enough to escape. After hours of searching every nook and crany, There was no snake to be found in this small apartment.

My question is, could the man working for the complex have removed my snake by order from the office, or is it even legal for them to forcefully remove a pet? seems like they would just charge a fine..or maybe the guy was a jackass who didnt like snakes and threw him outside or killed him…

Nook comics not downloadable through Nook software for Windows?

So I got a micro SD card for my Nook and wanted to transfer all of my books onto it, I got all the books but I can't get the comics to download.

How Can A 14-Year-Old Get A Job?

So I've looked around and almost every company only hires 16 years and up.My friend would like a summer job but not like full-time because he still wants to enjoy his summer (part-time). He just wants a little pocket money and some work experience. He preferably wants a job at a retail store or something like Target, Wholefoods, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble. Department stores are good too. Also working a a movie theater. Even if the application says they need to be 16 years or older do you think he should still try? Thanks.

What is the best chess book for novices? And why? A survey?

If there was an FAQ of chess questions this would be near the top of the list. Many people here have a favorite. This is a chance to make a case for your book of choice. I am nominating books that I know people have recommended, but of course you can choose another.

In this context I am defining "Novice" to mean a player who knows the rules and does not routinely accidentally lose pieces because they are left unguarded when under attack, but does not have a USCF or other national over-the-board classification higher than Class C.

I wanted to buy a manga at BAM but it's rated mature and I'm 16. I just wanted to know if they would ask me for any ID when I go to buy it or will they not care. (And I've read all these things online so don't try and say I'm too young)
