Is it bad to leave my Nook Tablet plugged in, charging, all the time?

Hi.My Nook is my bedtime sleep aid, so to speak, but because I leave it on all night, the battery obviously wanes.Is it harmful to leave it charging alk the time, even on shut down, so it won't freeze up like it does? Or should I just leave it off during the day, then plug it in at night when I get drowsy? Please comment!

Are there any good Paranormal Romances out there?

I've read so many books and I'm always hitting up Barnes and Noble for something new. Well, I haven't been able to find anything new that sounds interesting. I've read Nevermore, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, Hush Hush, Fallen, The Raven Boys, etc. Nothing new has caught my eye.

2013 AP World History Exam?

I'm going to take the AP World History Exam in May this year and I'm extremely nervous about it. I'm actually not prepared for it. Our teacher makes us to read all of the chapters. I read all the chapters that my teacher has assigned to us and took annotations; however, I don't understand what the chapters talks about. I felt super embarrassed about it and that I spent about twice the amount of hours to do it than my peers.

I'm planning to purchase an AP World History Exam prep book at Barnes & Nobles to help me to score better and prepare for the exam. I don't know which brand or which book is good. Which one would you recommend? I really need to pass the the exam and obtain College credit.

Spanish 1 and Algebra 1 honors help?

I'm in 8th grade and currently take algebra 1 honors and Spanish 1. I'm mostly getting Spanish but I want to really get it before next year. And I've already submitted high school classes for next year. I'm retaking algebra 1 honors because I don't believe I understand it enough.

I want books on both Spanish 1 and Algebra 1 I can use as study guides. Really that I can teach myself. Preferably available and Barnes and noble. Not an ebook. Not a textbook.

American travelling to Cuba or North Korea?

Hi. I am a 24-year old woman from Washington DC and I'm VERY adventurous. I have been ever since I was a kid, I would wander the neighborhood and find out all the nooks and crannies of our town. Well, I know this might sound crazy, but I want to travel to Cuba or North Korea. The two countries that everyone says you can't go to, I want to go there.My question is: which one would be better to go to? Which one would be safer? Which one would I be less discriminated for/better be able to hide being American? I don't care much about these, I am going to one of them one way or another. I heard Cuba is beautiful, being in the Caribbean, but I also heard North Korea is a very interesting place, it's just they strictly limit tourism in the country.So my question is, which one should I visit? And do either of them have an American embassy/a protecting power?

I just can not remember the name of a book!

Hi all,
There was this book that I read a while back.It was one of those free eBooks from Barnes and Noble. The basic story line is that there is this girl who is a prostitute. She meets a cop and they fall in love. Her pimp wants to keep her for himself, but it does't work well. She manages to get out and goes to the hometown of the cop that she fell in love with, who is in the army at the moment. She goes there because she is pregnant, with his child. She thinks that he is dead as well. Anyway, he comes home, she faints, they have a fight because he thinks the child is that of her pimp. She tells him it's his. They eventually get married and start a home for kids coming out of foster care. Because that's why she became a prostitute.

All I can remember is that I think it was called Jesse. The cover is a picture of a girl's waist down in a denim mini-skirt with cowboy boots resting on a pick-up engine. There's a blue background.

I would really appreciate any help that can be given.

Which E-reader is best?

I don't know which e-reader to get? Nook or Kindle? Kobo or Sony? Or should I just save up for years to get an iPad?
