Pros and cons of buying this house?

My partner and I are looking for a house to call our own. We got really close to getting one we were in love with, however it did not pass a home inspection, so we've moved on.

I love two story houses, I like the privacy an upstairs bedroom has to offer. I also love older homes with all their nooks and crannies! I'm just not a fan of "cookie cutter" ranch, open style houses.

However, there isn't much out there right now, at least not where I live. We found a home in our price range on a cul-de-sac that has pretty much nothing wrong with it. However it is very much a cookie cutter house, ranch style, no basement, one story, and small.It's everything I hate about a house, but it's a house… and it has nothing wrong with it, will pass a home inspection, very nice neighborhood, fenced in back yard, etc.

Should I just keep waiting around for a different house or really consider buying this one?

Been having a lot of tablet troubles?

So I bought a Nook Color a couple years ago and it never really worked right. I am so disappointed with the nook.It never worked right.So I was planning on buying an iPad, until my mom just got one today. And now I have no patience to use my nook after using hers. I absolutely love the ipad. The only bad thing is i can't take hers to school with me. I have been thinking about getting a laptop too.So it has made me rethink everything. Would I be better off with an iPad, another tablet, or a laptop. I have also looked at the convertible laptops and thought they were really neat. What should I do? I would use it for entertainment, typing up school papers, surfing the web, editing photos etc.also if I get an ipad I would get a keyboard case for it.

I am trying to order a book and I'm unsure on whether or not to buy it from the marketplace? Is it safe? Have you used it before and if so how did it go? Also, has anyone ordered from GIANTBOOKSALE before, was it good?

Nook HD Gets Stuck at 99% When Restarting?

I was loading a profile (you know how you can have multiple profiles) and it was taking so long so I pressed the sleep/awake button and the screen went black and when I pressed the sleep-awake button again, it showed the loading profile screen. This went on for a little while until I held the sleep-awake button. This restarted my Nook HD, but the restarting stopped at 99%. I tried plugging it into the charger and restarting it again, but it still gets stuck at 99%. I have it completely turned off right now and plugged into the charger. Any tips?
