Recommendations for a good JQUERY/JAVA SCRIPT book?

I want to learn some JQUERY and JAVA SCRIPT. Can anyone give me a specific book that I may learn many JQUERY scenarios and codes? I went to college to be a graphic designer; I don't want to take another course. I know quite a lot of HTML and CSS already too. I saw a few good books at Barnes and Nobles, but I'm not sure how well I'd learn from them. So has anyone had any good experiences with any particular JQUERY/JAVA SCRIPT books? Note: I learn best by thourough explanations and doing examples.

First interview and I need advice. Anyone have any to offer?

Hello, so I have a group interview at Barnes & Noble for the Cafe. Does anyone have any tips for the interview? I am kind of nervous since this is my first interview ever! I don't have experience in customer service. Working at Barnes & Noble has been like a dream job for me at the moment. The reasons for this is because I just love books and I just love the feeling of being in there plus I love love love coffee and tea! I have applied to so many jobs over the summer mainly at looking for jobs positions there. By luck I got a group interview for the Barnes & Noble that is associated with my university. It is inside the building where most to all my classes will be this coming fall. I really want to nail this interview because it would just be amazing and so convenient once I actually start classes. So please any tips?

P.S. I am 18 and a freshman.

Going to Barnes&Noble for a date?

I will be going on a third date with a girl in a few days. After we go for a walk in the park and then eating I was thinking about taking to Barnes and noble since its very close to the place we'll eat at and we can walk there. I just want to spend more time with her than on the first two dates. Is that a decent place to spend time with a girl on a date or should I find another place?

Why can't I get my pictures off my android?

I hook it up to the computer, and *nothing.*

I want to get my pics into either my nook, or the photo-bucket.

I have it currently USB'd to the desktop.

as midday filters

a crooked-toothed,

The Middle English of the Canterbury Tales?

I have a Barnes and Noble Classics Edition of it with side by side pages with Middle English to the left and Modern English to the right, but I'dl like to take up the challenge of at least attempting the Middle English, because as it said in the introduction, there is a possibility that something could be lost in the Modern English translation. How is Middle English read (how drastic are the changes in vowel sounds, for instance, is 'veyne' actually 'vine'?), and would it be appropriate to hear it read than trying to straight read it?

Where can I find a Vinyl Scratch vinyl figurine?

Ok so before I go on, no, I am not a brony/pegasister. I simply one one of these because Vinyl is my spirit p0ne (pony) XD

I've been looking for a Vinyl Scratch (aka DJ Pon-3) vinyl figurine for quite some time now, and I can't seem to find any ANYWHERE
I've looked in FYE, Hot Topic, even Barnes & Nobles, those types of stores that sell a bunch of fandom merch.

And for the life of me none of those stores have what I need. Always figures of Derpy or Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy and at the Hot Topic they had a wHOLE FREAKING SHELF OF THE NOT-SO-GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE BUT NO VINYL SCRATCH

I know I could probably order one online but it would be much more convenient to buy one in a store whilst I go shopping with my aunt

What is a bookstore besides Barnes & Noble?

I'm looking for bookstores because I'm a book lover. It doesn't matter to me if they're a national chain, but it would make it easier for you to post your answer, probably! I forget what else I was going to say, but maybe your bookstore can sell manga too.
