My room is the only room in the house that smells funny (it smells like a strange mixture of rotting eggs and a decaying animal carcass). I've cleaned my room multiple times, washed the carpet and scrubbed the walls, changed my bed clothes and changed my mattress, I don't keep dirty clothes in my room and I bathe everyday. I washed the windows and looked in every nook and cranny in my room to find the source of the smell. I checked the vent too and no smell is coming from it. Air fresheners work for a while but the smell always comes back. What is causing this stench and what can I do to get rid of it?
