Okay so I'm suffering from a identity crisis… I don't know who it what I am!!! So I wanna know am I preppy artistic a Jock emo punk Goth book work??? I'm into music I play violin I sing and I listen yo Avril Lavigne Paramore Katy Perry Kelly Clarkson Taylor Swift the Cab really a wide variety but not rap or hard rock … I love art too!!! Painting drawing sketching sculpting even coloring but I think way to much!!! I love reading fictional nooks about teen romance and paranormal love ( twilight- shiver) or fictional fantasies (Harry Potter) and even action filled love (hunger games) I'm also big on creative writing like I'm always thinking of book ideas looking for good reads and always writing sometimes poetry or song lyrics. I'm considered girly too. Because I love pink black and white having nice hair looking my vest. But I don't think of myself as girly I mean I like getting dirty chasing the guys making jokes and just being weird. The only sports I like ate football but just watching but it's not really my thing. I really wanna be a cheer leader but that's all really. I'm super organized!!! I love putting stuff together helping others and planning and coordinating I love decorating and putting stuff together :) I'm not site who i am really so I'm begging you… please label me am I preppy sporty emo punk Goth nerdy artistic what am I and explain how and give me tips on how I can help myself show who I really am???:) please and thank you ♥

Do you have to be 18 to buy yaoi at Acen (anime convention)?

Do I have to show them an id or something? Or does it depend on how smutty it is? I'm not talking about shounen ai but yaoi.Do I have to have a guardian with me or something? I'm asking this because in a Japanese bookstore I go to, you have to show id to be able to buy yaoi. But in american bookstores, I don't have to even though I'm not 18 yet. Very Dissatisfied with B&N?

I purchased a book from Barnes and Noble and because I was really late (like 3 weeks past the 15 day extension) I was charged $167 for the full price of the book. Which I am okay with only because it was my mistake and I need to pay the consequences.

BUT today I got an email, after I already paid the price of the book in full.telling my Barnes and Noble charged me an ADDITIONAL $50 for the SAME book that I was already charged full price for.
And that makes me so angry. Okay, I messed up and was charged for it, so why am I getting all these additional charges and it's not just that one, earlier in the week for the same exact book I was charged a random fee of $8.50 WHY.

Can someone please explain to me why they can just do this whenever they please?

What is the best publishing website for a poetry book?

Back in December of last year i published my first ebook on lulu.So many people complained to me about having difficulty downloading it from their website, as well as on the Barnes and Noble website. On iTunes the only people who were able to download the book were people who have iphones, or an ipod touch. This morning my older sister suggested that i submit the book to Google Play, is this a good idea or should i take my business elsewhere? The title of my anthology is "Guardian of the Inkwell".

Tenant sewing landlord, do i have a good case?

Without writing PAGES AND PAGES worth of info, here is the gist of the story: We moved into an apartment august 15th of last year. We were in a rush to rent because our last place had flooded and we were living in a hotel. We agreed and signed a 1 year lease with our landlord. (that included snow removal, and our water ).By november, i had seen a mouse in my aprtment and contacted my landlord to let him know-he sent someone over to set up 4-5 traps (and no followup whatsoever)… it took us a few weeks to catch it, but when we came home from christmas holidays (we spent them in our hometown), we caught yet another m ouse in our bedroom… (and just to add onto frustration, while this is happening, were also being neglected by the plows that were suppose to do our driveway for WEEKS as i kept asking for one to come and dig us out since i was 6 months pregnant)
After calling and calling them to fix this mouse problem AND to plow our driveway, i finally set up a meeting with the landlord on the 22nd of january, which he did not show up to (one of his representatives talked to me)..
. i explained my fears for my health and my unborn child's health, and that my doctor told me to get OUT of this problem was not fixed ASAP. She seemed concerned and told me an exterminator would be over by the END OF THE DAY… yet a few days later, stil nothing even tho i was calling them every day! finally i asked a friend to borrow his two cats for a few days… turns out the youngest liked "nooks" and she found a HUGE hold in the wall that was being hidden by our dryer! (and this "cut" hole was larger than the span of my hand, good place for mice to get in)..

So i sent a picture of this hole TO my landlord and said maybe this should be fixed, this is probably where the mice are coming from-Plus it's dangerous (because the cat hid in there for two days!)
The landlord still was giving me no indicatino that he was going to help me so i tried with the rentalsman (which is a totally different story, but with the same results, we COULD NOT seem to get help from them after multiple, multiple attempts to..)..so, we gave our notice, stating that we would be out by march 1st (two weeks before i was due), stating we were scared for our health (since we were finding mouse droppings under every register, IN our stove burners, etc..) and also our babies, mice carry very serious diseases that we should never be exposed to, even while cleaning the droppings (which myself and y spouse did many times).
Rentalsman of course ruled in the landlord's favor because we did not give proper notice-however MY point that no one seems to be understanding is… Even though i AM breaking the lease, im doing it for my health… Did he not break the lease when he failed to provide us with our RIGHTFUL habitable premesis… Rentalsman say we have no case because the notice wasnt proper, but when the only people who are suppose to HELP tenants are giving me harder times than the landlord, what am i isuppose to do?
I have pictures of mice droppings everywhere, a video of a mouse running across the floor in broad daylight, tv on and me sitting on the couch, and pictures of ALL the letters we sent to the landlord, requesting for this to be fixed (aka; the mice, the holes behind the dryer, and the outside of our house that was smashed in, possibly lettting in rodants)…
Im quite confidant i have a pretty good case, and would like more than anything for my old landlord to be reprimanded for making a pregnant woman stay in these conditions… and if i didnt think he cuold get any MORE foolish-he also had the place up on kijiji for rent two days before we moved out… so he has NO intentions of fixing this before allowing other tenants in!
Added (1). P.S- the woman who lived upstrairs to this duplex ALSO had mice, and was scared to end tenancy quickly, so she ended up staying until her required date

How many books am I allowed to upload and sell using Barnes and Noble Nook Press?

I do a lot of online marketing and my current business venture involves buying and selling eBooks with resale rights. Currently I have been using Barnes and Noble because they recently launched Nook Press which makes it really easy to convert my.doc files to.epub. This is my Nook Book Superstore as I like to call it.

As you can see I currently have 24 different eBooks up for sale.My question however is, when I go to add my 25th title I continue to get an error message. Nothing specific, just that there has been a problem and their team at Nook Press has been informed of the issue and will work on resolving it. Have I reached my title limit that I can have for sale? I have thousands of titles I was hoping to make live on Barnes and Noble's Nook.Am I stuck with only being able to have 24 for sale at a time?

Kindle Fire HD vs Nook HD+?

I'm trying to decide which one to buy (16GB). They are both on sale for the same price. I'm mainly looking for a tablet to connect to my wifi at home and use for Pinterest, Facebook, Pandora and internet browsing. I know the Nook doesn't get as many apps, but that's not a huge deal and I also know that the Nook has an SD card slot.Is that a big plus? I probably won't be downloading a whole lot, but I want to be able to have some apps whereas on my phone I can't b/c of lack of memory.Is one of these better than the other? Which would you recommend & why?

Do i actually like him? or is it a trick?

Three years ago i met a boy, ill call him James.My dad was staying with his dad, so i spent every weekend at his house. We became really close, shared personal secrets. I really started to like him, and he showed signs liking me. I stopped seeing my dad, and James. I miss him so much. I havent seen him in three years. Not day goes by without thinking of him. Can frozen electronics work again?

I don't mean as in "frozen" when the screen is stuck. I literally mean frozen, as in my Nook has been in the freezer for the past 6 hours. I was walking around reading and went to heat a Hot Pocket, and I must have (in all of my wisdom) sat it down in the icebox area.As I was getting ready for bed tonight, I went to pick it up and read it, but then I realized it was in the freezer.It does not respond at all when you hit the unlock button, and when I plug in the charger the little light doesn't come on. I'd just like to know if it is going to work right again, or if there's anything I can do to help it thaw.

How much can an author earn on one book?

I know it's highly unlikely to become a millionaire off of your first book, but I would like to know what an authors average income is off of a book, assuming it sells pretty good. Not a New York Times best seller with millions of copies and a movie being made of it, but one of those random novels you see displayed in Barnes and Noble with an author you've never heard of.Is it enough for a single person to live for a while, continuously writing books, although you might need another occupation to earn salary in the period between each book since it doesn't take a few days to write a story.

Which e-reader is best for me?

I have decided to purchase an e-reader in order to encourage myself to read more and because they are super convenient and save tons of space (rather than storing actual books). I will be using my e-reader mainly to read books. However, I will be bringing it back and forth to college in order to check my email and do some very light internet surfing during my breaks (I don't have a phone with internet access).

Which e-reader would be best for me? The Nook or the Kindle? Or any other brands you suggest?

Where can I buy a 2013 wall calendar this late in the year?

I can't order one online, otherwise this would be a piece of cake. I need a physical store that sells them. I've looked in Walmart, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Target, Barnes and Noble, Michael's, even the Hallmark store and a few mom-and-pop stores, and I can't find them at all, only little tiny pocket calendars or planners. I can't think of any other stores that I should try. I live in a city so I have tons of store options, but searching them all would take weeks! My price range is $10 or lower before tax.

I'll give the best answer to the first person to give me a store name that I can find a wall calendar in when I go shopping later this week. If you suggest a store that's not in my area, I'll probably just check the most similar store.

Can I transfer an ebook to other devices?

I know this is a silly question to some, but I've never had experience with ebooks before.
I'm planning on purchasing an ebook (on my laptop), but what I want to know is, will I ever be able to transfer it elsewhere, say, another laptop? I'm just worried that there will come a day where my laptop starts to break down and I'll have to get a new one. If I'm to buy this ebook, I really don't want to lose it if my laptop breaks (I don't have a kindle, nook, or any smartphone to put it on either).

So, can I transfer it to another laptop? Or is it protected in some way that I can only have it on this device?

6 month anniversary gift?

So I'm planning my 'halferversary" now and it's coming up in July.
I want to get her a Nook, cause she's saving up change now and in 8 months she's gotten ~$10. I'm worried a Nook is a bit much for a halferversary though, I can get different gifts and likely save the Nook for our anniversary ( in 8 months) which might be better.
Any opinions?
Added (1). I'm 25, she's 27, we are a bit out of the norm I know. The change thing is because money usually goes to rent or laundry or car payments. She is patiently accruing for the nook that she really wants I just thought it'd be a great surprise since we're head over heels for each other. And yes, we are both excited for our 'halferversary' (totally a real term)

Are these ok names for people during the Civil War?

So, I have a history project due in a couple days and I wanted to make sure every nook and cranny is perfected. I don't even have that hard of a teacher i'm just honestly a perfectionists. Anyway, i've googled searched common names and I just trust you guys more than some of those websites.So, Is Victoria and Felix good names for people who may have been people in their early twenty's when the war began? I've already changed Felix to Robert, but I just want to make sure because I like Felix better. :)

IPad mini vs Kindle vs Nook?

I think I'm going to invest in some kind of a tablet for my schoolwork (to read and take notes on research articles, worksheets, etc) so that I don't have to print as much and can stay more organized. I currently have an iPhone and iMac so I feel like the iPad mini would just be more compatible with those but it's still expensive and I don't need anything super fancy as long as I can download PDFs, take notes and create documents. Which would you suggest?

Target.com doesn't have shipping prices? Help?

I was going to get the Muse Hullabaloo Soundtrack from Target.com, as it is at a nice, low price right now ($10.39)
However, I can't find shipping details ANYWHERE! I don't have a target card, which I'm aware gives free shipping, but I don't order online or go to Target a lot anyways, so it would be a waste for me. I'm also not buying over $50 of items just to get free shipping! That's ridiculous, in my opinion.
I'm not buying from Amazon, as I've had way too many shipping and buying issues before (if you must know, things that are over a month late, things that NEVER even arrived, and charges added that I was not informed of).
I can't find this CD on any other website (Barnes&Noble, Walmart, Best Buy) It's not sold in stores, either.

I really want this CD, but I need to know the shipping price (I don't want to be ripped off- I'm on a tight budget and this is my chance to splurge on something.)

Our baby is in icu and the nurse sucks?

Wonder what I should do… every nurse here has been great … cept this one… we've been stressed out, baby is stressed out and this isn't helping… but maybe I'm just being the tired new stressed out dad? She had not checked the board in 5 hours for what's done and hasn't checked on him more than glancing in the window until I got a bit angry she helped with after we fed him but keeps propping his nook in his mouth with a Velcro swaddler pad thing (had jandice so under a light) right after he eats… seems like this is a chocking hazard to me… he also had the sunglasses on from the light which he keeps moving he keeps pulling off his sensors and they know this so they don't run in they wait about 30 mins before I hit the silence button… grrr… the sunglasses he pulls down over his nose and sideways so he gets the light in his eyes every sound he moves he's very alert and she keeps asking when were going home even tho we can stay in this damn room all we want… ugh even my family is pissed they were here for about 2 hours and she didn't stop in once. He also has an iv on the top of his skull which he has grabbed at a few time and I'm just scared to leave him I'm sorry mainly venting just having a hard time with all this and looking for advice… I'm glad he's being taken care of and he's in good hands minus the next 5 hours… I don't want her to take out my problems or her problems on him… poor guy :( there should be a rule somewhere that babies can't be sick…

What can you do with a library science degree? Is there jobs for librarians?

So I've been thinking of my majors for college and I've been told that I should be a librarian or like a Barnes and Noble manager. Usually something with books involved. Since i love my books and writing. But is there jobs for that kind of stuff? I don't want to pay for a classes that I won't get a job for.

The only think I've ever really considered was secretarial school and work in hospital or something :/

Do certain Barnes and Noble locations stock manga series that other locations don't?

I've noticed that when I go to Barnes and Noble locations to buy manga at one location I'll be able to find the series I'm not looking for and at another they won't stock the series at all. For example I'll be looking for a book thats part of the Higurashi series and even though its on the website and at other store locations I won't be able to find the series at all at certain locations even when a new volume gets translated. And they never have it at all when I go which I find weird since I thought all the stores are supposed to stock the same series. And I know I can ask the store to order it for me from a different location and pick it up later but I still think its weird that certain locations don't carry it all and others do.

How to protect my pond life from my cat?

I just put a pond in and we are getting plants and stuff for it this week, we want frogs, newts or fish because I love them all. The problem is I have a killer cat, next door had a pond and she would play with their frogs and kill some but not on purpose, how can I protect any future life in my pond? What's the name of this manga?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. A few days ago I was in Barnes and nobles and was browsing the manga section and saw a book that looked pretty interesting. I was going to buy it but kinda forgot that I'm broke and so I had to pass until I got some more money. Sadly, I completely forgot to take note of the books name. All I know is it was about a guy who is draculas descendant. I think the book starts with him sitting on the couch playing a video game. He kinda looks like grey from fairy tail… I think another one of the people had funny eyebrows shaped like an upside down cross. I remember there were two volumes because the one I originally picked up had a big fat 2 on it and I had to go looking for the first one. Now I know this is hardly anything to go on (at all) but I know there are some really clever sleuths out there who might know exactly what I'm talking about, so please help!

I've had my nook simple touch for 2 years and I accidentally leaned on it and cracked the screen. I don't have a warranty on it now and I want to know if I can replace it for cheap or get a new screen on it for cheaper than it's original price.

So many spiders in my house!

In the past few months, I've found about 3 spiders weekly, and these past few days, I've killed about 10 in 2 days (it's getting hot, can that be a reason why?). Also, I've noticed that they're mainly on the upstairs floor near the bathroom but I've tried cleaning ever nook, cranny and crevice in that washroom but they're still coming. I am deathly afraid of spiders, especially since they're usually on my ceilings…
Is there a way to get rid of them? Because frankly, 10 spiders in 2 days is just weird!

Im looking for places that sell
manga near by. The only place i can find manga right now is barnes and noble. But theres has to be other places right?
