Ocean of Love

What shall I say about love
That hasn't already been said before?
Though in attempt’s wake my faith may shake,
I must leave this cynical shore.

Words weigh me down, my dear,
And the ship doesn’t seem to move!
It’s passion that blows the ship in its course
And not gold that intends to prove.

Should the ocean of love ever deter,
Or thunderstorms be testing,
Be my guiding star, which, from afar,
Awakens my hope from resting.

I’ll conquer the rough, raging sea
For your heart, which does not quiver.
Take pride in seeing every nook of your being
Light my soul with love forever.

Helping my cat adjust to our new house?

In a few months I am moving into a new house. However, I have a ten year old cat. We have lived her entire life in the same house and i am worried about how well she will adjust to a new home. Does Books-a-Million/Barnes and Noble card for M rated manga?

So I wanted to buy Is This a Zombie? The next time I go to the bookstore but I saw it was shrinkwrapped at Books-a-Million but not at Barnes and Noble for some reason… Both of them have that "EXPLICIT CONTENT" sticket though. I'm 13, I don't really look 18, might pass for 14/15, but are they going to card me for manga? I understand you've gotta card for R rated movies or M rated games, but are there any such rules for books?

Nook, Kindle or iPad?!

I was wondering which one is better to buy. I dont really plan on actually buying any books, mostly just downloading or transferring PDFs to the device and just reading the book like that. I do need a device that wont run out of battery that quickly since I do plan on using it many times either during school or when I'm on a trip. I was also wondering what exactly is the difference between these three? I know that you can download apps on the iPad but can you do that as well for the nook and kindle? I dont really plan on downloading any apps but I'm just curious.

Should I report my medication as stolen or am I better off saying lost?

I have stayed at a hostel and in leaving this morning I discovered that my medications were no longer where I had hid them. My whole bottle of Concerta (ADD/ADHD) at 190 pills were gone, just vanished. Now I never had anyone in my room so I have every right to believe that someone on the staff stole the bottle, however I have no proof. I did not mention this on check out as they may have been the culprit. When I settled elsewhere I found no bottle in any of my luggage and of course on leaving I checked every drawer, nook, cranny and under everything possible. Even disassembled things, nothing. I know I should report this to the police, however I want to know if I am more likely to get my prescription refilled early if I report it as lost to my doctor, as I really need them. Thank you!
Added (1). I suppose I should add that these pills are one of the top 8 stolen medications in the world and that they are easily sold on the streets.
Added (2). Another mention I should have put. My family has a history of drug abuse in her eyes but really it was only one person who actually has. I have never abused medications and even got off pain killers, sedatives, and migraine prescribed medications by my own free will; do you think the association with my family would still hinder an early refill? The other thing is I am 3 provinces away from my doctor for the rest of the summer.

Help looking for a nintendo 64 emulators that works with nook hd?

yes i have tried mupen64 by paul lamb, m64 by p92k, gen64 by Geemulator, Cooln64 by cool emulators, n64 by liquid mobile all are free none of these worked, I could start the pokemon stadium one and two game but could not move the joystick or the arrows to move through the game. To even play so if any out there has a better one please leave a answer.

Whats wrong with watchdogs ebook?

I just downloaded the watchdogs ebook by John Shirley from barnes and noble on a galaxy tab 3. It says the purchase was confirmed but I got no email, and when I open the book it just says test. The book was supposed to be released may 27, but on amazon it says may 29, but its may 30 so I dont see wbats wrong. Please help

Which E-reader Do I Buy?

Yes, the generic question of which kindle or nook to buy. I'm sorry, I just want one that will do what I need. I've google searched to no avail. The thing is, I really want one that you can use in the sun, but can also do web browsing. I don't need anything else. I'm kind of an Americanized-otaku, and there are a bunch of books out there that are only translated on the Internet, so… Yeah. Does that exist yet or do I need to wait?

I'd like to learn latin but don't have a clue how to start?

I looked through amazon and Barnes\noble and have found that Wheelocks guide to Latin would be a good start. I'm not trying to speak it yet, but i'd like to learn to read and write in it with some fluency. The one book that I want to read is the Vulgate not for religious purposes but for the sake of reading it or some of the other poems\epics etc or the Alice in wonderland Latin edition. (i'm not opposed to reading childrens books to get better at the language either, I'm open minded.) I'm learning Latin for the fun of it. Please help.

There can't be a God?

I'm not an atheist - not yet at least, but I can never think of a time in my life I was actually happy. There just can't be a God. I've been raped, constantly beat up, I have no family, I'm a high school dropout - I'm 26, male, short, and deformed. The Bible ( the Old Testament mostly ) has some of the worst illogical things I have ever read. I don't know how any human being can believe in that. I don't know how any human being can worship a God that curses people for not believing in Him. I'd NEVER want to worship a God like that. I mean God can't be real.

Bug bites every morning?

I've been waking up with bug bites every morning. Some trail like spider bites. I usually notice them later in the day. I thought maybe bed bugs but I have looked in every nook and cranny or carpet, mattress, door frame, window seal etc. Nothing. Plus they do not look like the pictures of bed bugs, they look like mosquito bites and not one has a scab or anything which I read is common to bed bugs. I sleep with my dog, she has light fur and I can't find any fleas on her.
I'm just at a dead end. Is it a spider? Hives? Any other culprits that come out at night?

How likely am I to be hired at Barnes and noble?

I just turned 16 a few days ago and applied for Barnes and noble today. It will be my first real job, aside from babysitting and doing some volunteer work. I don't have retail experience but I do know a lot about the product. I read a lot and know a lot about books. I also want to be a writer and I think that the job would help with knowing the book selling business. (I put that all in my resume/application. My stepmom also reviews my resume (she's extremely smart about stuff like that and even helps college students with their resumes) and she told me my resume was extremely impressive especially for a first time and only tweaked a few words around and she said it was better than some college students she has reviewed) i have heard it's hard to get a job there at 16 and I don't have the most prestigious grades. (as in I'm a b-c student not a straight A) I do have a lot of availability though because I am not in sports and the clubs I'm in are during school or only like 30 minutes at the end of the day once a week. I also really want the job and I know some people apply just because. So I was just curious as to what my chances of getting the job, or receiving an interview would be? And how long I should wait before I either take action or apply elsewhere/at another store?

Get new Ukulele strings to improve tuning?

I just bought a really cheap starter Ukulele kit at Barnes and Noble. It was on sale. I used to play the acoustic guitar but it's back at my parent's house that's 900 miles away. I decided to pick up this Ukulele and see how I felt with it. It was only $20 so I figured why not. I spent about an hour trying to tune the damn thing. I would tune it and play a couple of things and within a few seconds it was already out of tune. The strings are cheap black nylon. Do you guys think if I buy new strings for the Uke it will improve its tunability and sound? Thanks.

Where do I get money from cancelations from Barnes and Nobles?

So I logged my daughter into my barnes and nobles account to buy some books for her birthday. She went a little haywire and bought 15 books totaling up to $119.76. After a talk with her, we canceled some of orders and now the price went down to $67.27. Unfortunately Barnes and Nobles already charged my Paypal account. My account says119.76 was taken out, but it doesn't say anything about the refunds. My Barnes and Nobles account changed the order status, and its charge has been updated onto the account but it never told me when or where my money would be refunded. Will it be sent back to my Paypal account?

I am doing an assignment however I've searched Barnes and nobles an they have many. Some are volumes and some are not. Do they sell the whole book with the 8 full chapters, or not? Some I've seen are 200 pages and some go up to 500. Which book is the full book with the entire chapter?
