Ereader without guarantee?

Dear all, I am book lovers. Read a lot of books including ebooks recently.Usually I read ebooks at smartphone but considering buying ereader like kindle, nook, and kobo. But I live in South East Asia and I cannot ship it back into usa to get the guarantee coverage in case there was problem due to cost

So is it worth it for me to buy ereader without "guarantee" since it's not cheap for me. I am considering nook because a lot of my collections in epub and I need sd card. Thank you for your answers.

What is this anime/manga called?

So, I found this manga at Barnes n Nobles, and it was really interesting. It was about a girl who grabbed a boy and he had to pretend that she and him were getting married. I think the manga was based off the anime. I THINK the manga was called Summer Wars, but I'm not really sure. Is it an anime or a movie? Is it good?

My HP Pavilion m6 won't find a certain wifi connection?

My laptop has no issues connecting to most wifi networks. However, it will not connect to the wifi in my apartment complex. My mac, Galaxy s4, and nook all connect to this wifi without issue. My laptop, however, cannot even find the network. It shows other nearby options but not the one that I need.

Everyone keeps telling me to reset the wifi router or check that wifi is on. I don't have access to the router and my landlord won't call the IT guy because my other devices connect to the network. And my wifi is on on the computer (like I said, it is showing other nearby options).

I don't know what to do. I tried manually inputting the wifi name and such and it's not working. I really need to use my laptop for school but without wifi it's not much use.

The laptop will connect to any other network without issue. And other devices connect to the wifi without issues. My laptop and this wifi are the only ones not cooperating.

Please, any advice?

Are Barnes and Noble signed books real signatures?

The signed book section on their website just looks to good to be true. For example this signed copy of Appetite for Wonder is only 26.65, but Richard Dawkins signature is sometimes three times that expensive from other sources.

Is it an actual signature?

What is wrong with Barnes & Noble's online store?

I placed an order on the fourth, which was confirmed but I later received an email saying it was delayed. Yesterday i got another email saying I had to approve a thirty day delay or the order would be cancelled in 24 hours. When I tried canceling my order anyways, they said they could not cancel it because it had already been shipped. When I check my order status however, it says it's still processing. I'd like to know what is wrong with them and why they're making it so difficult just to buy a couple books, especially when they say that they are in stock. I'm never ordering from them again

Sould I buy an Ipad mini if I have a Nook color?

I have a Nook color, which works fine, but it doesn't let me read E-book off of GoodBooks. Do you think it's worth the money to buy an Ipad mini 3, if I have a Nook color and an Iphone 6? If you have one why do you like it?

I'm too depressed to function?!

Hi, so this is my sister's friend's account, and she's letting me use it.
Well, where do I start. I have a very severe depression, and gastrointestinal problems, which cause me high humiliation at school (to the point where it's so unbearable I can't live it down). I also have very bad anxiety and agoraphobia. My agoraphobia has progressed to the point where I'm scared of even strangers now!
My grades are failing, which makes me even more depressed. I was a good student, but now it's like I'm indifferent, which surprised even me. I don't even like to do the things I used to, barely anything interests me now. It takes a lot of effort to try and just pick up the pencil, and sit down and do my homework. I'm behind in all of my classes, in fact, in one class where we use the textbook to learn, I'm 5 chapters behind and finals are coming up. And the problem is, I just can't snap out of it. I've done everything, between yelling at myself, getting other people to yell at me, worrying about what will happen if I don't do it, but it's like my body decided that from now on, nothing matters anymore. My mom will be making an appointment for me to see a stomach doctor, so maybe he can help with both my stomach problems and anxiety. My stomach problems are mainly caused by 2 things, diet (which I haven't seemed to get the hang of) and anxiety (if I get nervous for even a minute, I get diarrhea). I'm so lost right now. I can't seem to snap out of my depression and get my grades up.
Added (1). Not to mention I'm deathly afraid of school. My chest squeezes and feels like an elephant is sitting on it if I just think about going there. I really can't handle it anymore. My parents won't let me homeschool or use online school, and I don't really see how ever in the world I'm going to even finish school, let alone go to college.
How can I get my grades up?
Added (2). My mom and I sort of made a deal, which would be that if I get all A's, then she would buy me whatever I want. I've set my heart on this book from Barnes & Noble, and it makes me even sadder just thinking that I won't be able to get it…

Where can I buy this book as an Etext?

Sociological Theory George Ritzer 7th Edition… I have checked textbooks.com campusbooks.com kindle, and nook websites… I have a lot of classes throughout the day without breaks so I am trying to limit the number of books I have to carry on my back… And considering this one is 800 + pages it would take up a lot of space and energy carrying it around campus all day

I have to call into work due to a delayed flight?

I work at Barnes and Noble and I went on a trip and just got back on Monday then this past weekend (FRI - sun) I had to go on a smaller trip to move my sister back into her dorm. I worked my shift on Friday, got my Saturday shift traded, and I was supposed to leave on an early flight back home and be home by 11am, with plenty of time to be ready for work at 4. However, my flight got delayed due to maintenance and they are now saying that it could take a while. Should I call into work? I feel bad calling in and don't want them to be annoyed. :/ but if I'm stuck here I know I have to. I guess I just want an opinion.
