Why does barnes and noble have plastic stickers in the manga? And what are they for?

You know when you buy a manga from Barnes and Noble and there's a plastic sticker in the pages of the manga. What are they and why do they have them?

Barnes and Noble gift cards?

How could I use a Barnes and noble gift card to buy a book online with out having to put in a credit card. I have more than enough money on the card already saved into my account but it still will not let me get the book.

My nook hd is stupid I hate it?

It won't turn on it's been plugged in all day the light is orange/yellow and whenever I press any button it shows a white "battery" on the screen which is "charging" but it still won't turn on I have tried holding both buttons for 20 seconds, holding just the power button for 30 seconds then plugging it in etc etc. Every now and then it shows the nook logo after I press some buttons then goes back to the charging battery. All in all any tip that gets it on for 10 minutes wins also don't buy electronics from Barnes and noble cheers:)

2 faucets not running water on the hot side?

I have 2 faucets that are not running water on the hot side. In the kitchen it is a single handle faucet, and everything is fine when running cold water. Rotate it to the hot side, and the water turns off completely. In the bathroom, the faucet has 2 handles. The cold one works fine. Turn on the hot, no water period.

My hot water heater is on the second floor, was purchased last October, and all of the faucets/showers work fine upstairs. The 2 not working are on the main level. I'm in a condo built on a slab, no attic, and I'm an interior unit.

Any thoughts/advice is appreciated!

I want my bedroom to look gothic. Does it look good so far by this description?

I am a teen girl and I want a gothic style bedroom.
My room is painted kinda a ocean blue color and it has white trim. I am not allowed to repaint my room again. I have oatmeal colored carpet too.

I have all black bedding and a black dresser, night stand and table. I also have a black area rug. I have a white cubby desk thing. Above my window, i have a black feather boa. I also have a maroon chair in the corner. I have a white bookshelf too.

I have taken the doors off of my closet so I turned it into a nook area. In my nook, i have a grey ottoman and a silver duck taped table with a tv on it.

For decorations, i have fake spider webs with mini spiders in one corner of the ceiling along with 2 big Halloween spiders. I have various posters and my artwork up.

What do you think? Tips or ideas?

What to do when bored?

Being bored out of my mind is an under statement. I have absoutly zero things to do! My parents were out all day yesterday and today refrigerator shopping, my sisters away and none of my friends are around. I want to go outside but it's negative two degrees and covered in snow and ice. I left the book im reading at school and dont have another one I could read. I dont want to watch anymore TV or go on my phone im sick at looking at screens. I already cleaned my room and the rest of my house. All the food in my house is bad so I can't cook anything. I'm in walking distance of Barnes and Noble but my parents refuse to let me walk there. I've been listening to music all morning, and drawing. Ugh I wish I could go outside. What can I do? I'm going stir crazy!

What is the future of DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray?

I'm just wondering will DVD really fade away within however many years. That Best Buy, Target, FYE, Amazon, Walmart, Castco and Barnes and Noble will not sell them. What about Blu-ray did it ever catch on at all. Will this happen in the future where 4K Blu-ray take the place of Blu-ray and Blu-ray take the place of DVD? Is streaming really going to take over in the future in buying and owing movies?

What about people that switch over to DVD late say in 2010 or 2011, and don't understand about the whole streaming and buying it on streaming with a Apple TV, Roku and so on. Are they out of luck, IF they don't learn about it and start switching over?
