Severus Snape vs Muggle technology?

Okay so this is sort of a random question:) We love Snape's character and we got to discussing how he might react to various technologies in the muggle world if he somehow got to experience them. I guess your views on this may partially depend on how advanced you feel wizard society vs muggle society is--a seeming debate among fans--but whichever side of it you fall on, you are welcome to give your opinion. Note: You can make some general comments about HP wizards if you want to, but we are really trying to emphasize Snape's character and any idiosyncrasies he might have about the tech. If you can picture any specific comments coming out of his mouth it would be fun to put them down.

Here's a muggle tech list, and/or feel free to add any other items you can think of:
Smartphones (cell phone + camera + GPS service + plus the App store), Computers/Ipads/Nooks, Internet (email, video chat, online banking/shopping, Google search, social media), Ipods/Itunes store/Pandora radio, Contact lens/Laser eye surgery, Guns (Handgun + automated + Sniper rifle), Nuclear weapons, Cloning/DNA manipulation, NASA space program (Lunar landing, Hubble telescope, International Space Station, Satellite voyages to the edge of solar system), Satellite network orbiting the earth, Flat-screen tvs/DVDs/Blu ray (also live daily news coverage), Imax dome, Airplanes, Nintendo, Illegal drugs, Credit Cards

Are we still the backwards Muggles? Or are we more worthy neighbors for wizards/witches now?

hey so I got a Nook color (not HD, just nook color) gift card for $25 and I JUST took it out fo the package and I JUST loaded it on my nook, but when I tried to buy something it charged it to my credit card and not my gift card. Help!

What are some sites where you can publish and sell an ebook? And what should I charge?

I know about the Kindle and Nook sites. But are there any other. I am throwing around some ideas for a non-fiction e-book which will be between 150 and 300 pages. If there are many books already on this topic would $5.00 be too much or should I go for a lower price? This is still in the works (my mind only) and will be done in the near future (starting next year after I get some research done.

I'm going to sell a 3ds xl, nook color tablet, pokemon-red, ruby, saphire, soul silver, platinum, diamond, mystery dungeon blue rescue team, Mario vs donkey kong mini land mayhem, mysims, (2) Kirby super star ultra, n+, Mario Kart ds, super Mario bros 3, like 4 psp games, call of duty ghosts, black ops 1, assassins creed brother hood, call of duty mw3, uncharted drakes fortune, grid, ratchet and clank all 4 one, rathet and clank a crack in time, little big planet, mod nation racers, bio shock 2, and far cry 3. I know gamestop will rip me off but I don't want to sell all my crap on eBay or whatever. I'm going to take all of this stuff to gamestop soon so I just want to have a good estimate of what I can get. Please don't waste my time and say they will just give me like 5 bucks, thanks!

Does my Nook have a virus?

I was on the internet on my nook. I was trying to get to a site, but for whatever reason I typed the wrong url, so it took me to the wrong site. I clicked out of it and used google to get to the site. A few seconds later after clicking in the site I wanted to be on, a new tab opened up that said they detected a threat. They said my Barnes and Noble antivirus just expired. Then they asked me to do a scan for viruses. I didn't know if it was a trick or not, so I turned my Nook off. Does it have a virus? O.O

What should I read next?

Just re-read 50 shades trilogy due to the fact that the trailer made me wanna relive it all over again:) I would really like to read another book series.

Its not the sex scenes that made me love the 50 shades trilogy, but the love story. So if you can help it no books where every other page is SEX SEX SEX, unless you think it is a to die for book with a good story line.

To give you an idea of what kind of books I like I have read the following and thoroughly enjoyed them:

Have been considering reading the matched series, mortal instruments and vampire academy but just cannot get myself to start them. I have a Nook so they are at my fingertips. So if you have read these and suggest them also let me know:) All suggestions will be researched. I keep a posty note on my desktop with a list of books I think I may wanna read one day lol.

What is this book called? - 2

Its a novel about a boy who's mom is missing and they think she was mudered because there was blood all over the front of her car, bit it was the boy's blood. He has to live with his uncle and he's picked on because he's Asian. He gets angry and breaks his cousin's dolls and the next door neighbor's window. The neighbor is a beautiful woman who does horticulture and medicine or something. He works for her and finds that her garden is magical and you can travel through a tree that was planted over the body of her late husband, Oswald. The boy also has water powers and the woman helps him develop his talents and she ends up being a repentant fallen angel and she helps him find his mom. She's like in a human zoo in Hell so the demons can shift themselves to look like her.

I originally read it as a nook book on Barnes and noble.

I think a man took a picture under my skirt?

I'm a 16 year old girl and yesterday I was in Barnes and Noble with my mom and sister. Me and my sister were looking at the Calico Critters and trying to decide which ones to get, when my mom said she was going to go look at the puzzles. Not long later I noticed from a plastic displays reflection, a man kept walking around behind me. First he stopped to look at some activity books to my left and went away. A few minutes later he came over and crouched to my right and was "looking" at the Calico Critters. I glanced at him and noticed his arm was behind me and I turned around to see a phone behind me, angled up my dress. He got up and left while looking at his phone and then left the store. I didn't tell anyone because I was so stunned and I was wearing leggings underneath my dress anyway so I didn't understand why anyone would go through the trouble. Is it possible to call the store and see video footage? What should I do?

Is it possible to buy a cushion/mattress of specific dimensions?

my roommates and i have an extra closet in our house that is fairly large that we want to convert into a little reading nook, but in order to do what we want we would need a cushion or mattress that would take up the entirety of the room. Is it possible to find a place that lets you buy a cushion/mattress of specific dimensions or is there anything we could do ourselves to get one of the exact right size so as to fill the room? Can I exchange books at Barnes & Nobles?

This might sound stupid, but I like to buy books in mint condition. I just bought a book and noticed walking out of the store that there were scratches and creases on the cover.

I really like it and would return it and just get another copy, but I used a coupon. Would they let me exchange the book to another copy without charging me extra since I used a coupon?
