Do the religious understand the two types of faith?

Faith is a wonderful thing--but do the religious understand there are two types? There is a reasoned faith grounded in some supporting evidence. For example--I have a reasoned faith that gravity is the same in every nook and cranny of the universe--yet--I can't prove it.My faith in gravity keeps me from stepping off the top of a tall building. This is an intellectually honest faith.
Then there is blind faith. Blind faith is a faith where you have faith in something even though there is evidence to the contrary. For example, some people have faith the earth is 6000 years old. The only way they can have this faith is to ignore the literally tons of evidence available that it is not.
This is an intellectually dishonest faith.
