Playon or Playlater Help?

I am considering a subscription with Playon/Playlater. I would like to know, has anyone been able to use this service with tablets other than Nook/Kindle/iPad? If so, is the service worth it, or is there a better way to download free movies to a tablet to watch offline?

My new house has no dining area?!

Bear with me here, please, I'd like to explain my situation thoroughly:)

My husband and I just bought our first house in August. It was built in the late 1950's which is not my favorite year for houses being built, but someone did some updating along the way and they kept it in decent shape (knock wood!)

The house is mostly ideal for us, except it did not come with a designated eating space. No really…I'm serious, there is none.

The kitchen is quite small and with the cabinets opening and the much-used door to the garage being on the one free wall, there isn't really a spot for a real dining table (at least one that seats more than 2 people which we don't want).

The previous owner used one side of the living room as a "dining room" with a nook table that he left behind for us. The trouble is, the thing was just so bulky and look up a lot of space…plus, it just looked weird to me, having this random table there. It felt weird eating there with the fam on Christmas too.

A neighbor told us that the owner before the last used to use a spare bedroom as a dining room. I have no kids yet, so it's an option…but again.it seems weird. I think my family would be confused at holiday dinners. Mostly it's just so enclosed and far from the kitchen.

The MOST concerning thing to me is resale. I can deal with it, but can the next resident? This is our starter home, so in say 5 or 6 years, we'd like to move. What will families think when they see no space to eat dinner each night?

What would you do in my situation? Creative solutions?

(Btw, we have very, very little money to spend doing anything crazy, lol. So no putting up new walls or anything.)

Does my goal seem unrealistic?

I'm 14 years old. I have so many idea for books, and I'm writing a lot. My dream is to have my book in hardcover on the shelves of some well-known bookstores, such as Barnes and Noble, and write books that people will actually buy and recommend to their freinds. I want to write books that get fairly popular that are on the 'teen's top picks' section and things like that. Does that seem unrealistic, though?

20 years old first time filing taxes?

Okay so I have a babygirl shes 1 and 4 months and I've been told that I can get tax money for her and myself but I am clueless. I worked last year at lowes for 6 months and after that at Barnes and noble for like 2 months then got fired. I need help on where to go and how to do it. I literally don't know what i'm doing and i don't want to get ripped off. I'm 20 years old and this money will really help out me & my baby. HELLLLLPPPP lol please & thank you! Im terrified that i miay have to OWE MONEY instead of getting money!

Can I still get my 4 month old baby to fall asleep on his own…or is it too late?

My son will be 4 months next week & he has never been a self soother yet (first child). We have a bedtime routine starting between 6:30-7:30 depending how long his last nap takes (story time, baby massage with lullaby, put on jammies, & bottle). He always falls asleep while feeding. However, he does not stay sleeping…ever. It ranges anywhere from 5-20 minutes & he's up crying away. He has gotten into the habit of being rocked to sleep (yes I know that is my fault), which wouldn't be so bad, but once again once fallen asleep, put in the crib, 5-20 minutes later - screams from the bedroom. My husband & I tried the CIO method a few nights, but quickly learned it wasn't for us. We've tried rubbing his tummy/chest to soothe him, but the screams don't lessen. We've tried a sound machine & projection on the ceiling. We've tried a nook & security blanket. We've tried pretty much any method we've read in a book in the last 4 months. We just can't seem to get the bedtime to go any smoother. Naps during the day he's OK - he stays sleep once down (USUALLY takes 3 - morning(about 1 hr), afternoon(about 1 - 2 hrs), early evening(about 40 minutes-1 hr…it's just at night he doesn't want to in the slightest. If anyone has ANY tips on self soothing or just getting him to stay sleeping once put down for nighttime…we'd be greatly appreciative! Thanks:-)
Added (1). I know a lot of people are suggesting a later bedtime, but we've tried that too.it only makes him more cranky

Nook and barnes and noble store help?!

I can't get my nook to charge things to gift cards, apparently my nook account that I set up when I got my nook doesn't exist so I had to create a B&N.com account. Anyway. I bought an app off of there website rather than the nook store and charged it to a gift card but I cannot figure out how to get it onto my nook.

My NOOK won't charge? - 1

Last year I did quite a bit of traveling and my Nook always went on the plane with me. Once I got home from a trip I couldn't find it anywhere! I called the hotel and it wasn't there. So I accepted the fact that it was stolen or I left it at a coffee shop or someplace. That was about 6 months ago.

As I went to pack for a trip today, I found it! It was in a suitcase in my guest room. I anxiously plugged it in…it has been plugged in for an hour or so and it still says "Battery too low to power on. Please connect your charger'

Is it bad I still keep going back to my old community college? - 1

I am a 20 year old guy and was taking classes at a community college for two years. I have now transferred to a university. But every Friday instead of going to my university to study I instead go and study at the community college. I prefer to study there instead. I just like the atmosphere better, I like to still say hi or chat with some of the math tutors, I like to have eat lunch at the Thai place or other restaurants around it and go to the Barnes and Noble right next to the place or go for a walk around.

I realize I am somewhat attached to the place. Is this bad? If it is, how do I stop feeling this way?

I ended up with roaxhes when I let a friend do laundery. And I can't get rid of them. I've tryed soapy water, bleach and now boric acid. Butit doesn't seem to be working I'm even dusting it in cabnet and nooks and crannys but I want to be safe cause I have a two year old son. So please give me some safe tips

Can you go on Strike?

Regarding our Right to Strike can students cut class and stand out front of the school protesting the unjust suspension of their fellow classmate? I'm not exactly sure the nooks and crannies of this right. Thanks a bunch:)
Added (1). It is a Public High School in Riverside,Oh. We would be protesting against unfair and unjust treatment from our caretakers?
Added (2). Sorry didn't see. Also, the student was suspended for posting a picture on Instagram saying he hate a particular teacher. It was not intended to be threatening or harassing. It also was posted 4 months ago and he was only suspended for 10 days and kicked off his sports team on Monday. If this was a serious issue most the entire school would be in line for disciplinary action.
Added (3). Thank you for your sarcasm -_-. I have come to the conclusion that the school has lots of favoritism and would not even consider suspending 50 students for standing up for what they believe in…

A disk read error occured ctrl+alt+ del will not go away?

Can somebody please help with my laptop? And please help me step by step. Here is what happend

I come home I unpack, I get my laptop then sit on my bed I turned it on and next thing I know is that fall asleep out of no where. Then I wake up and I see my computer is still at the log in page so I type in password this the welcome sign decided to take forever loading so I am trying to figure out why is my laptop freezing and lagging. I restart my computer and the same thing happens, my computer gets slow,so I restart over and over. The worst part is that my computer does a desk check so I let it be then I noticed 0 looking icons are all over my screen so I am trying to figure out what is going on so of course I would restart again then this message says to me " A disk read check occured Press Ctrl+alt+delete " so I did then it kept going back o the same message. I looked everywhere on the web on my nook to figure out the problem but it is just stuff that is not working it is naming irrelevant numbers and the posts always mention bios amd I'm also trying to work it. Please respond thank you.

Hello,

I try to find service where I can add epub files and read them online. Also will be nice to have sync with mobile devices.
All big services like Nook and goodreads does not allow to upload epub or any other ebooks.

It seems very strange to me the lack of this kind of service and I believe there is one and the only problem is that I dont know it.

Pandigital Novel E-reader Help?

I just bought a used Pandigital Novel. I downloaded an e-book from Project Gutenberg, which shows up in downloads. How can I transfer that download to the library? The library only seems to access Barnes and Noble e-books.

Also, most websites that I click on are causing a security certificate error message to appear. How can I stop that?
