Nook, kindle, or iPad?

Hi, I am in the navy and am going to a ship soon with limited wifi connection. What do you think is better the nook, kindle or iPad? Here is a list of stuff I would like to do with it.
Put Books on it ( and not have to have wifi to read them)
Put movies on it ( and not have to have wifi to watch them)
Maybe skype when I have wifi
I have sensitive eyes and get headaches easily
Cheapest price wise for the actually device and for the books and movies
Battery life
Most portable
most durable
and anything else you could tell me about them thanks

Is this a good order to read for Star Wars books?

I've been a Star Wars fan my whole life. I've collected toys, posters, watched all the movies 100 times, gotten Star Wars clothes, been Star Wars characters for Halloween, but sadly, I've never read the books. I've been an avid reader a couple years ago, but with all recent things going on, I've put books away entirely. Now, things are going back to normal, and I want to start reading again. Now, I've read things online about certain book orders I should read them in, and I know you can really jump in anywhere, but I'm the kind of guy who doesn't want to do his research when he sees a character he doesn't know. I kinda like to read in order. I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday, and got the Thrawn Trilogy. I just started "Heir to the Empire" (Only on Chpt. 3 so far), as I've seen on 95% of everything I've read that the Thrawn Trilogy is the way to go if you're starting. Here's the order I was thinking of reading. Do you think this is a good idea? I will read Standalone books like "The Force Unleashed" or "Deathstar" while I'm in the process of buying my other books

1.) Thrawn Trilogy
2.) Bounty Hunter Wars (Because I love Bobba Fett)
3.) X-Wing Series (Only first 4, because I heard the others are boring)
4.) New Jedi Order
5.) Legacy of the Force
6.) Darth Bane Trilogy

How to wipe a stain off of my bookbag without a washing machine or a special cleaner?

I spilled a fruit smoothie on my bag and i need an easy way to wipe it off. My bag's material is rough almost like canvas. Its a barnes and nobles bookbag if you need clarification and i'm not sure what the material is called. (And will it leave a permanent stain?)

Best EReader for college?

I don't really want an iPad. I don't have much use for games and music so I just want something simple yet nice to read my textbooks on and PDFs etc. I was thinking of a Kindle or Nook. Color doesn't really matter as long as the screen has good lighting.

What bookstore in manhattan is it?

Hey!

So here's the thing. I've been once to New York (just Manhattan) and I found a bookstore. It was somewhere in the Midtown but I'm not sure. So, about the bookstore. It was huge, it had about 4 floors. The only thing I can remember is that on the highest floor there were just medical books and on the lowest floor there was like a whole "new bookstore". There were just big, white book-shelfs. And they were not completely filled with books. As far as I can remember on the lowest floor were just scientific books. And the last thing - it was not Barnes&Noble. Does anyone know what kind of bookstore it was? And where it is exactly?

Thanks in advance

What kind of paint is used in restroom stalls?

I was in a Barnes and noble last night, and I noticed there was this dark gray paint on the bathroom stall wall that was peeling. I was just curious, because of the fact that the bathroom probably hadn't been repainted in at least 5 to 10 years, is that paint harmful if it were ingested?

My football manager watches me in the showers?

ok, where do i start?

every time we finish training we all pile into the showers to clean up. Nothing wrong there you would think, but let me go on.
my boss, i won't mention his name, but let's call him Jim T, likes to join us whenever we win, and sometimes even if we get beat.
come to think of it, he's there if we draw too.
anyway he insists on bars of soap, liquid shower gel is banned for some reason. Needless to say, the soap goes flying all over the place and we have to bend over for it.
i've never seen so many ringpieces in my puff.
sometimes Jim like to soap us up, getting into the nooks and crannys.

Can you download Google-Play on a Nook Color?

I already know Barnes & Noble put Google Play Store and Apps on the Nook, but my friend mentioned that it was only for the HD Nooks and was wondering if this is true or not since my neighbor is selling me his brand new Nook tablet.
