Problem with my nook tablet urgent!

When I plug it to the charger it will light up orange and then a battery too low to power ON screen will appear and the light will turn green. I tried holding the power button with the n button but for 10 seconds then I tried 20 and nothing will work what should I do? help and I dont want to take it in because I have some embarrassing pages saved on my bookmarks so I dont know what to do.It was charging fine the last few days and nothing new has happened it didnt fall or the cord didnt get ripped out what could it be?

Tablets that have instagram?

I'm looking for a tablet from $100 to $250 and im kind of obssesed with instagram on my iphone and i was wondering what tablets have instagram in the range. I want to make a new account on instagram for quites and funny pictures so i will just be doing screen shots no use of camera but it would be nice using a camera. I am lookingat the new Nexus7, the nook hd+, and the kindle fire. And dont really want an ipad or an ipad mini because they are too expensive. Also I want the tablet to be small so its easier and lighter to take places.

Why Did Barnes And Noble Screw Me?

I recently ordered 17 books from Barnes & Noble's website and chose express shipping since I am still on my two month premium membership trial. Today I checked and it said they shipped it with "UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS" which basically means UPS will process it and then give it to USPS for finally delivery. I've had too many bad experiences with USPS.My package had to weigh around 8-10 lbs and I thought that service was only for small, lightweight packages. Can anyone tell me why B&N would put me through this? Thanks in advance!

How to clean cat pee smell from vents?

I have a horrible cat urine smell that comes out of our vents when we turn the A/C on. I'm pretty sure it's from my cat.he is 4 years old, has been neutered, and still sprays. We just moved into a new rental home 2 months ago and have had no issues because he is an indoor/outdoor cat and always does his business outside. A few days ago I noticed a nasty urine smell in the house. I tore apart the whole thing with a black light and found no traces anywhere except in the basement, in a small nook behind the furnace. He had been peeing on a bag of curtains left from the previous renter. I got rid of the bag and scrubbed/mopped the floors. You can't smell anything at all in the basement but when I turn the A/C on, the smell is still there. I heard using Natures Miracle works wonders with getting rid of the smell, but the Q&A on their website states that it doesn't work on metal. I had intended on spraying it into the vents, but not sure this will even help because the vents are metal. Someone help! I can't handle it any more and i know my landlord will not approve if the smell persists.Is the soiled bag related to the vent smell? Or could he have possibly peed on the outdoor A/C? I don't understand how this smell got in there. We used the A/C for weeks straight and no smell then all of a sudden its overpowering. Getting rid of the cat is NOT the answer I'm looking for. Regardless of whether he stays or not, the smell will still be there.

The other day I saw a book in Barnes and Noble and it made me curious. I haven't seen it again and can't remember the actual name.It was about how to go through college or high school without putting much effort into assignments and that sort of thing, but still get great grades (I mean really great grades). I remember the cover was in many colors. I'll really appreciate your help!

Should I keep hanging out with her?

There's this girl I've been in love with for a really long time who, as luck would have it, eventually became a pretty close friend who I frequently get to hang out with at the university we both attend. Now, because of my relatively accommodating schedule, I'm able to spend quite a lot of time with her (and I do mean a lot!) and usually end up taking her on long afternoon strolls all over campus (she seems to love walks), visiting various hidden nooks and crannies in campus (another favorite), or simply eating out, and to be honest, I genuinely believe she enjoyed (and still does enjoy) these little excursions of ours, since, otherwise, why should she keep on coming every single time I asked her out? Every second I spend with her are moments of incomparable happiness and, indeed, just seeing her smile or laugh at my jokes is usually more than enough to make my day. I am a firm believer in old-fashioned 'gentle-manliness' (to everyone, of course) and at no time forget to hold/open doors for her, draw her seat in restaurants, carry her stuff when she gets tired, keep her from getting wet in the rain, all those little things, and waste absolutely nothing in an effort to make her feel special. Most of my friends (and hers) know I like her and I think she at least has a hint that I have feelings for her. She has, however, hinted (purely by accident, I think) that she might not be ready yet for a serious relationship (she hasn't had one, to the best of my knowledge) but wants someone who is willing to sacrifice his time and effort just to wait for the time when she is ready. I am willing to wait, and I am more than happy with things as they are now, but lately I've been having doubts. Right now, I am someone she trusts, whom she has fun with, with whom, I am convinced, she feels safe, but what right do I have to monopolize her time? What right do I have to take her from the company of her friends for my own sake, for my own happiness? True, she seems to genuinely enjoy the times we spend together, but at the back of my mind, I sometimes wonder if she only accepts my invitations out of kindness, out of pity, or boredom perhaps, outlandish as the idea may seem to me at times. I do feel she is special, one of a kind, and plan on telling her so someday not too far, I hope, but for now I am simply left wondering: should I continue asking her out? I know that she has other friends and I sometimes feel that I keep her from them by always having her by my side.Is there a limit to these things? Might she not tire of these little things we share all of a sudden one day? Might she not suddenly grow tired of my company? That is what I fear the most, I think. Why has my cat taken a shine to me?

The cat is fed and generally taken care of by my parents and therefore goes to them for cuddles and attention. I've been back home for about 4 months now (had her for 2 years and seen her frequently over that time) and, whilst the cat will occasionally come over for a pet, she generally wants nothing to do with me and will ignore me. If she ever see's me outside, she bolts away at lightening speed.

However, for the past 5 nights, she has crept into my room, trotted up to my bed, leapt onto my legs and spent the entire night with me. (Often she screams to be let out at 4am) I've been having a duvet day today and she has not left the nook of my armpit.

Have I suddenly earned her 'respect' or such somehow? Aha. I know cats can be odd creatures but I was just wondering why she's suddenly taken a shine to sleeping soundly with me when I've not given her any special attention.

How to keep spiders away?

I have an old wooden television stand that has lots of nooks and crevices that spiders and other bugs love to hide in. I frequently clean the whole stand really thoroughly to get rid of all the bugs it attracts, but I would like to find a solution that will keep them off for good.

Are there any oils or sprays I could rub on it, or anything I could put under it or in it that will repel bugs? I am willing to take whatever steps are necessary to get rid of them permanently.

With music, web, and photo taking capability? I've been reading review after review of the Nook, Kindle, iPad, etc.motley crew of e readers and I can't seem to find one with everything I want.It needs to have a headphone jack, obviously and I want to be able to use the internet on it and if possible, take pictures. Why are customers so rude?

I work at Barnes and Noble, and a man (about early 30's) wanted to get some book about the SATs for his daughter. He said, "Do you have this book?" I said, "No, but we can order it for you, and you can either pick it up or have it delivered to your house."
And then he replied, "Well, now my daughter's going to fail her SAT because of YOU."
I started to fake smile, and I think it was obvious, but I said, "If you'd like, I can see if other stores near you have this book in stock."
"Do you know how much gas I've wasted going to this freaking store!?"
"I'm sorry sir, there's not much more I can do. Next time, I suggest that you look at our online cata-"
and then he stuck the middle finger at me and left.

I was online searching for a book at Barnes & Noble that well, I thought it was Barnes & Noble which I wasn't. I really want to buy this book for myself, only type of book I've seen but it said. I believe (NOOK Version) or something of the sort - I'd check but I'm on my iPod right now. Tried searching for a book version but there's NONE! Does the Nook version come with a book or just Nook? I don't want to buy a Nook just for this. Thanks

Do I need to list former employers?

I'm 16 years old, I've only had one job before & it was terrible. I was fired from that job & it wasn't exactly professional. You have to give at least 2 weeks notice if you're going to be unable to work on a certain day or for a prolonged amount of time, but about 2 weeks ago my grandma, who lives in California, called us and told us she was in the hospital for colon problems & she just wanted to notify us in case something went wrong w/ her surgery.It was really last minute & we were leaving to visit her only 6 days after she called us, so I told my job & they said that wasn't enough notice. I then explained to them the situation and offered to let them speak to my mother, which they didn't. They continued to tell me that I needed to come in for work.So i worked my shifts up until the day that we were leaving, and I just left. I know that's unprofessional, so no need to tell me. But long story short, I just got back on Saturday (we were only gone for a week), called my job to tell them I was back in town and one of the managers or employees told me I wasn't on the schedule.My reason for this question is because, if I'm called in for an interview for Barnes and Noble, I don't want them to call my previous job and have them tell my possible new employers that I failed to show up for work or quit without notice.So if I do list them as most recent employers, will B&N call them? Do I even have to list them as past employers?

I found a nook color in the middle of the road?

I was driving with my family back from the park and I saw something in the middle of the road.My dad stopped the car so I could pick it up. I felt really guilty about it, I wanted to somehow give it back to the person, so I was just going to move it to the sidewalk because it was a busy street and surprisingly no car ran it over, but it was pouring rain and it would get ruined anyway. We took it home and it has been in a bag of rice for the past 2 days. I really would like to return it to the owner, but I have no idea how??? Should I just keep it? Or i suppose if it ends up working the owner's info would be on there and I could perhaps email or call them.Is there a place to turn it in? Thank you :)

Kindle or nook? Help?

So I want to get an e reader because traveling with books is only slightly annoying.
I'm a big reader, which is why I'm skeptical on getting any of them because I don't want to pay full price for every book I read. Many of the books I physically own I have received as gifts or I bought at book or garage sales for like $1/$2 a book. I also borrow books from my local library a lot.
I read online that the kindle and nook allow you to borrow e books from the library. I think that's great, because I read a lot.
Which is easiest to control, download books from the library, and best to read on?
I know there are a million different types of kindles and books, but I'd really like some help.
I don't really care about weight or size. Both weigh about the same, and have the same size screens.

Nook Tablet won't shut off?

So, yesterday, I was playing my nook tablet.It's a nook mini, and it's white. And I wanted to sleep, so I hit the power button.It wouldn't turn off. I tried holding it down, and that never worked. I tried holding the power+the home button. Didn't work. I tried several things. None worked. I don't want to send it in to be fixed. I need to shut it off! And it won't power back on with the power button after it times-out, it only turns on when I hit the home button. Help???

Am I obsessed with law enforcement?

I have been to prison twice, for things I did when I had mental breakdowns. Anyways, I am currently out on Parole. I don't know what is wrong with me: I deliver newspapers and I am always looking for the police. One place I deliver to is next door to the police station and I have extremely bad thoughts when going by there. I know the chief of police's name, age, address, phone number, wife's name, daughter's name, sons name, and some other things about him. What is wrong with me? What does this mean? Am I obbsessed with the police? Sometimnes I even email the chief of police. He does not know who I am when I email him, because I remain annonymous, but I like to email him just because it's cool to converse with an officer. I ask him random questions. I also listen to my police scanner app on my Nook alot. And I love watching the news. What does this mean?

and think about it, to make DUBSTEP, you have to learn how to use a computer, and you have to press buttons really fast. Also you have to make it sound dope.

Mozar and all of those gay composers didn't have computers, did they? So their "music" wasn't as COMPLEX as DUBSTEP. If Mozzar was alive 2day he'd ask SKRILLED to teach how to make GOOD MUSIC that can be played in da clubz, not gay classical music that's ONLY good for Barnes n Nobles coffee shops! lol!

I have a nook tablet hd and I'm having problems whit it sometimes it mutes by itself and I can't unmute it I press the button that has the cross over that speaker but nothing and the only solution that I have is to erase and deregister that tablet so if you knowshow to fix it whit out me having to erase it can you please leave a solution

I've been looking everywhere for A Home at the End of the World by Michael Cunningham, but it hasn't been at any of the four Barnes and Noble stores I've checked. Getting a Job at barnes and Noble? - 1

I will be 16 in November, I have been wanting a job since I can remember.
The "Local" Barnes and Noble Is 33.4 miles away.It is the only job I want as of now, and Is my dream job. The only problem is, I didnt get my learners permit for driving until april, So I cant drive myself to my job until april.So If my parents would drive me it would be 130 miles of driving each day"which is stupid" Any advice on getting the job itself or on how I could get it sooner then april?

Any advice relating to getting this job is welcome. This will be my first job.

When you type in an address in the web address box it has a drop down list of recently veiwed sites how do you delete them

I don't like Math. I want to get better before I go to high school?

For the 9th grade, I'm taking Algebra… pre-algebra was really HARD for me even though I asked questions, wrote all of the examples down, stayed focused the whole time, got additional help from my two math teachers, and making sure I get interested. I got a C..I don't like it at all… I want a different approach to math, maybe someone who can teach me math in a more fun and easier way. Any advice? tips? books I can buy from barnes and nobles. Yes, I did ALL of my math hw.
