How to cover an eyesore of a half wall on a reasonable budget?

I will try and explain, in our bedroom, we have half of a wall that is painted different from the rest of the room, it lies within a nook (I guess you would call it), we can't paint or wallpaper it since it's not acceptable by the rules.

Right now I have the dresser tucked into the space which takes up most of it width wise. The space is about 9 feet high by 6 feet wide. Next to the nook, the wall comes out some and there's a closet that continues on to take up the rest of that wall, but the closet is fine.

What could I use to cover it within a reasonable budget? I don't want to use a curtain.

Books that teach/illustrate how things work?

Things about cars, fixing them, anything about electrical equipment or circuits, etc, etc. I don't just mean a kiddie book with lots of pictures, but isn't there something I can find in like the Science section of Barnes and Nobles that talks about how things work?

Also, if possible, if you happen to know any books about laboratory equipment, like centrifuges and thermocyclers and incubators, that'd be cool too.

I had a female pet rabbit who escaped the house this evening, but we didn't realize until around 7pm, when it starts to get dark. I have tried calling, searching with a flashlight and crawling on my hand and knees EVERYWHERE looking for her, along with looking in every nook and cranny anywhere near my home and the neighbors. I haven't found her yet, and am worried she didn't make it since it is dark outside now. We do have stray cats, which adds to the worry and looming probabilities that she won't make it. Also, she is a smaller bunny, about the size of a teenage regular bunny seeing as she is half miniature. But this does not affect her in speed, which I am hoping is a good thing. She has outrun my full grown boxer when she got loose outside a while back. Although we has been hand raised since she was only days old and has only had outside activity in a fenced off cage.So is there a probability that I can get her back? Or is it time for me to call it quits and give her a proper burial?

My nook tablet is not working HELP!

I was reading a mag.on my Nook tablet and then sat it down, now it is just black it wont do anything… I have tried to press the power button but i get nothing. And i cant figure out how to take the back off there is no little slit to get it off. This is the Nook Tablet that looks the same as the Nook Color thanks for your help

I have never had an e-book before, but I have already spent 350 dollars on textbooks, the last book I need cost 250 dollars..a calculus book.My school has like a barnes and nobles store, so I can get stuff from there using scholarship money, but like I said their books are overpriced the used textbook is 187 dollars and the book brand new on amazon is $167. But the amazon rent thing is $44 dollars for an e-book, and my school has the e-book for $88 via nook study.

I basically have no money right now, which is why I would prefer to use my scholarship money, but I can get my parents to buy it maybe.

I have a 2012 MacBook Air would e-books be alright for viewing? I thought the pros were obvious like my laptop is super light, so not heavy textbook… but I have never had e-book just a bit worried.

I've never done it before, but now I have a brand new iPad.

What are your experiences? Those who run my campus bookstore say that our eBooks (allowed on up to 2 computers) cannot be put on iPad/nook/kindle. But why is that?

Or is there a way I can put them on my iPad as a PDF or something similar?

Is Barnes and Noble giving me the run around?

I placed an online order with Barnes and Noble.com on January 7, 2013 with expedited shipping (1-3 business days). After many issues because they said the books would not be shipped until the 25th, I finally got customer service to tell me that they would be shipped January 8, 2013. I received an email this day saying that they were shipped and they gave me tracking information. Now that it is the 10th, almost the 11th (three days later), my tracking information still says "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated." I contacted customer service again today, and they told me it would be delivered tomorrow. Isn't this impossible since the tracking information doesn't tell me anything? I just feel like I've been given the run around since I've had so many issues with the order… I will NEVER be ordering from B&N again.

Linksys router help! Nook wont connect?

My little brother just got a nook for christmas and we have a hell of a time trying to get it to work.It can see our network and has the password saved but is stuck at continue setup. I was told i have to put its MAC address into our router to allow it through.

Everywhere says to click the wireless tab on the router page (192.168.1.1) but i dont have that tab. I have all the other tabs and can change multiple settings, but nothing about wireless or even a spot to input the IP given to me. Can someone please help???

Added (1). Ok, thats what i thought too, i thought this was just a security thing. The actual wifi comes from our Frontier box (model 7550). I originally tried to connect to this box but i cant figure out how to connect to that.Is there a different IP i have to type in or do i type in the same IP but just disconnect the llinksys first?
Added (2). Ok, since i last commented i disconnected my Linksys and only have the frontier box running. Obviously the internet works but i still cant connect to the router.the 192.168.1.1 address just loads for about 5 minutes and then times out. Any advice on how to actually connect to this box?

Im 16 and I am sure I want to go to college to be a vet. I love animals and biology but, I also love the medical field too. I love seeing people happy and teaching other how to care for things to make a better life. Best Value Classic book collections?

I really would like to own a collection of classic books. I've been looking around and found the Barnes & Noble Leatherbound classics and they were fairly reasonable, but I like having a copy of each work. With the collection, many of them are large Bind-ups from the same author. I really like Penguin's classic collection, but I'm not willing to pay $600 for the set. Does anyone know where I can find a Classics Collection that look nice and are reasonably priced?

I know there are plenty of options via the internet but I hate ordering stuff online… it's not really a problem of getting it mailed to me or anything as I'm out to my family, but that online shopping is just a hassle.

I live in a house that's worth about 1.1 million dollars.
I'm 13.
I have a MacBook Air, iPhone 4S, Nook, ipad mini, Xbox 360, Kinect, Wii, and we have 8 TVs.
I mainly wear Abercrombie along with other jeans and shirts from Nordstrom.
I have 5 pairs of uggs, 2 pairs of sperrys, 3 pairs of vans, and too many flip flops to count.
I play club volleyball which is about 2000 dollars a season.
My parents have three cars which are an Infiniti, a Jeep, and a Ford truck.My dad has an airplane.It's only 5 seats so its not all that big or anything. But that's just because my dad loves airplanes and his job is selling them.My mom does work in sales of medical equipment.
We have a cabin which is worth about 500K, it is three floors and it is up in the mountains. Up at the cabin we have 3 atvs, a volleyball court and lots of outdoorsy stuff.

Don't get me wrong here, I honestly don't think I am rich. I know your going to say it sound like it, but I buy most of my clothes and I work for my dad to earn money.My parents are very into me earning money and depending on myself so I really don't think I depend on them too much at all. I am wondering if I were to self-publish, could I get picked up by an agent? I hear that's the way it happened with E. L. James. If so, are you locked in to just the Nook or the Kindle, and what about making hard copies of your book? Can you do that and have a book with the Nook or the Kindle? I'm not sure, but I don't think you can do both the Nook and the Kindle.

What must I do to find female talent for a youtube project?

I have a book that caters to men's interests and I want it marketed on youtube. I want an attractive lady 18 or older to do it. I'm just having trouble finding this person. I post ad's in the talent section on craigslist in my city San Diego, L. A. New York and it's either I don't get a response or non of girls who respond take it seriously. They say they will make a video for my book but they never do. And what I'm asking for is simple because all she would have to do is make a brief video in the comfort of her own home and post it to youtube. And she could make it however she wanted to, I would just have to approve it before it's posted to youtube.

She also has to be open minded because the book is a bit controversial.It can funny but still very controversial. And in a way that can be a good thing because controversy draws attention which draws more potential customers. But most important factor is that it's an interesting read, and I'm confident a lot of men would purchase it if it were presented to them by the right person.

I just want to know what do I have to do to find a lady who will give this a chance. And yes I would pay her well. $1 per-copy plus bonuses depending on how many copies her video sold. For example, let's say her video drew 500, 000 viewers. And out of those 500, 000 viewers, 80, 000 bought my book. That would be $80, 000 she would have coming to her. Plus I would give her an extra $10, 000 for helping me out in a huge way.

I'm an independent author and I have my book for sale on nook, kindle, smashwords and paperback. I can afford to pay out a dollar pre-copy sold from a video, which is really good. On top of that I would send her a copy of the sales report from each website where my book is sold.So everything would be on the up and up.

I'm not looking to deal with someone who has trust issues. I pay commission and bonus. I understand concern is valid. But I don't want to make myself look bad and have some speak badly of me from a business stance. I just need someone who will give this a chance. I can't promote my work myself. I'm an author not a sales guy. I tried my own means of marketing through twitter and making some picture slides on youtube. And I sold copies throughout America, Canada, and the UK. But I need someone who can make that high volume of sales happen for me.

Why are white people everywhere?

Like you can barely go anywhere and not see white people, i travel a lot and even in countries that are predominately black or something else there are always whites there, even in Africa, Asia, they seem to find them self everywhere. I recently just came back from Dominican Rep.and there were so many white people there, but its bot even that there there is that they act racist even though they are in a mostly black country. Like you can still go places in America and even Canada and not see any blacks for weeks or other races for that matter but it seems like whites are everywhere

Rainbow colored dyed hair for an interview?

I'm 20 going to a community school and currently am looking for a job.

The kind of jobs around me here are GameStop, babysitting, daycare, Target, Barnes and Noble, Ulta, Petco, Joyce Leslie (clothing store), Michael's Arts and Crafts, Walgreens, etc.

I currently have dyed brighter blue hair in the front and underneath a blue black that naturally fades.

I have had this hair for a while, as I have tried to stay true to my blue hair color and still be myself with a nose ring, I plan to modify my piercings if necessary but not so much my hair.

I have been growing it out since I stopped being sick (enough) I take pride in my hair now that it is back.

The question is, do I have to make the commitment of dying my hair if no one even potentially hires me?

I have a wig, made of synthetic hair that I used to wear that is an auburn red brown, but don't want to have to wear the itchy thing at all. Only if someone decides to hire me with a hair policy will I change it, even then, my hair could be damaged again and fall out because it's super sensitive.

I'd like to avoid places that'll judge my hair preferably, and don't want to have to change it unless a job requires it after a hiring process.

What should I do though if blue hair is just not their thing?

Is this love I feel for SHINee's Taemin?

Seriously, I've fallen head over heels for SHINee's Taemin. I know that I am not just over reacting, like what I thought at first. I thought that this will just die out after a few months of obsessing over a kpop group and that I'll grow tired of it and definitely transfer to other fandoms after. But, it did not happen. SHINee is the fourth group that I like, but after discovering them, I was stuck to them forever. Especially with Taemin. I researched about every nook and cranny of his life like a stalker. I would go all day watching his videos and stuffs. And things gotten worse when I went to the SM town concert a month ago. I was very near the stage and I made a freaking eye contact with him (maybe I'm being delusional) but that was very memorable for me. I feel like I was electrocuted at that time, like OMG! Those few seconds were like one of the happiest moments of my life. Also, I don't like him just because of his appearance, you know, if you spend almost half of your life researching about that person, you will definitely see something more about them other than the looks. Faith is a wonderful thing--but do the religious understand there are two types? There is a reasoned faith grounded in some supporting evidence. For example--I have a reasoned faith that gravity is the same in every nook and cranny of the universe--yet--I can't prove it.My faith in gravity keeps me from stepping off the top of a tall building. This is an intellectually honest faith.
Then there is blind faith. Blind faith is a faith where you have faith in something even though there is evidence to the contrary. For example, some people have faith the earth is 6000 years old. The only way they can have this faith is to ignore the literally tons of evidence available that it is not.

Is this a good enough reason for a Crisis Loan?

Okay, So i'm planning to apply for a Crisis Loan tomorrow morning. Here's a little background information:

Two months ago I was made redundant due to the business I was working at going bankrupt.In an attempt to gain some form of financial security I applied for JSA and Housing Benefit (It wasn't to my taste, but it was needed). Everything went smoothly and my JSA was set up, etc.

Then in the middle of December my father, who lives in Switzerland, rang me to offer me a job over in Switzerland working for him and that I could start in mid January.So I stopped my JSA (not really knowing that I had to tell them, I just figured If I don't sign, then they'd get the idea) and what money I had left over from my previous job tied me over for the rest of the month.

Unfortunately and to my dismay, my father rang me on the 4th January to tell me that he could no longer offer me the job due to a failed deal with his business and a bank in Milano, Italy and he would not be able to re-offer the position for another 3 to 5 months minimum.So as you can imagine, I'm back on the prowl for jobs and I have had to re-apply for JSA. The application has been done over the internet, which i did on the 5th January. Now my question is, is this a good enough reason for a Crisis Loan seeing as all my finances are completely spent? Obviously I expect the assistant behind the phone to question every little nook and cranny and I am happy to oblige to any of their questions - but how would I give evidence on such a matter?

Body language - attraction?

My shame at asking about this is relieved by the fact that no one knows me here. Even as I write this I cannot help but laugh at myself; I am an adult, not a teenager.
But, I have been driven to distraction and cannot well ask any of my friends as this would cause gossip and possibly expose me to ridicule.

I have had this acquaintance, who I have no contact with independently of the friends who connect us, for a few years now.
Since the first meeting; he's been sort of unpleasant (never openly) with back-handed compliments and snippy remarks.
I for my part would simply let it brush over me and have never dwelt on it - I did not see him frequently enough to pay this any serious attention.

In the last year/year and half this changed. I began feeling "jittery" in his presence triggered by most peculiar behaviour from him;
He kissed the top of my head when saying goodbye once; he frequently is "in my face" and at the last gathering while I was talking to a couple I'd just met, he suddenly come up from behind me and grabbed my waist.
I was struck by how sexual that felt, and felt slightly "owned" by him but, I'm ashamed to say that I also felt a beam of heat hit me from behind just before he touched me. The people I was talking to reacted in surprise.
He mumbled something about me losing weight (I did not, an utterly pointless comment in every possible way) and the couple I was talking to commented on how "rude and backhanded" his comment was. (It later turned out that the woman in the couple is his sister).
In the course of the same evening, he also tapped the tip of my nose ( I do not remember how or why – there was a group of us talking together) and hugged me (his palm perilously close to the nook beneath my breast).
As you can imagine, my hormones are currently hitching a ride on the Curiosity rover hoping to get to Venus.
The question is; is he exhibiting signs of attraction or am I utterly deluded here?

How to add a cover image on book on Barnes & Noble website?

And I was wondering how to add a cover image onto it.It looks weird when it says "No Image Available".Is there a way to add a cover image?

Nook tablet upgrade or Nexus 7 tablet?

I currently have the Nook Simple Touch. I am looking to upgrade shortly to possibly the Nook HD. But, then I was thinking maybe I should just get a tablet.My question is, will the Nexus 7 tablet allow me to install an app to let me use it as a Nook?

My Nook Book isn't in.epub?

I'm trying to remove the DRM from my Nook Book to make it accessible on my iPad, but when I used a convertor, I found that my Nook Book was already in.pdf… but then I tried to open it and it couldn't be opened? How do I change this?

I just went on my Nook Color and into the picture gallery and found a lot of pics.why?

So, originally I had a total of 20 or so pictures on my Nook Color, but I just went to my picture gallery to look at a picture I had just saved and found that there are over 500 random pictures that I had never seen in my life before uploaded on my picture gallery. Why did this happen? I never saw any of these pictures in my life so I couldn't have done it… HELP!

Barnes and Nobles refund error?

I reciently returned an unwanted book to Barnes and Nobles; it cost 21.00 with tax.
Upon return of the book, the refunded money did not appear in my bank account (I payed with a visa debt card) and it has been a day since I returned it.
A month ago I returned another unwanted book, and upon return, the money appeared in my bank account immediately.
Should I wait or call Barnes and Nobles?

Will Nook randomly charge my credit card for free books or movies or only if you purchase?

I just registered a Nook tablet I got for Christmas, and found some random free book about dog facts, so I downloaded that to see how the books operate, and I let the computer voice read the book, but than I get an email saying your purchase has been processed. I think to myself, what the heck, so I click in the email, and it says, thank you for your purchase of $0 dollars. Why don't they say thank you for your free download, because when you register though you do put your credit card number to register the Nook, but it makes you think there is a $1 hold or something on your account, which there isn't though.

What if I accidentally buy a book I don't want? Do you have to click a couple of links before it actually charges your card, or if you hit download once on a book that costs money, does it automatically charge? Can you return the book and get your money back?

Just making sure I will not get my credit card randomly charged if I download free apps or free books or free movies?

How are novels chosen to be Barnes and Noble classics?

Being a lover of literature, the classics have always been my favorite. I buy all of my books in physical form, and the set of "Classic" novels by Barnes & Noble are my absolute favorite. I always buy those paperback version if it exists in the B&N classics library. I was wondering, how are classic novels and other works chosen to be in the B&N classic library? I haven't been able to figure it out on my own, and was wondering if there is any way certain books are chosen. For example, B&N has chosen many novels by Dickens to be featured, but not all of his major novels are in this certain publishing that I love. Another example is Fitzgerald, two of his novels are in this set, but his most famous (The Great Gatsby) is not. If there is a way that B&N uses to determine if they are made into classic, please let me know!

Nook color charger making hissing sound?

I just got my nook color today an plugged it in my wall to charge over night, but it's making a sort if hissing noise. I googles if it was normal and have read some stories about nook chargers melting and almost burning down houses. Now I'm scared to death to plug it in but I'm completely out of battery, I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
