I need an opinion about this job interview. Help?!

So I applied to a Barnes and Nobles in my area and I selected that I was interested in a temporary/part-time/or seasonal position. I applied for the job the first week of June. Now its already July and they called me about scheduling an interview and I already scheduled an interview next week. The problem is that I applied so I could have a summer job while I'm at home, however, I go back to school in the middle of August and I won't be able to work there while I'm in school because my college is a little bit far away.

I feel bad that my summer break is almost over and I already scheduled this interview. If I go anyway, what should I tell them during the interview?

Buying used books on Amazon?

I need a couple review books for school next year and ive also been wanting a few books and I thought about going to Barnes and Noble. First I checked out the books on Amazon and saw the used books are much cheaper. Like $5 with $4 shipping and handling. Which is much cheaper than the new ones or going to Barnes and Noble and buying them. I just wanted to know if these used book outlets are trustable? Many are 95% good ratings and have good conditions. Has anyone ordered used books before from Amazon? What was your experience like? How about the review books? Thank you so much!

Can I root my Nook Color with my pc?

Okay so can I just delete all the files that are in the Nook and put in the android ones?
I have a micro SD card, but it won't fit. If it did, this would be much easier.

Career / college course ideas?

This question is simple and I hope someone out there can help me.

I'm 17 and about to be a senior in high school in September. I'm currently in the process of picking the right college for me and I was wondering if anyone had any career ideas or college study course I should take on based on my personality.

I love to create. I love helping people. I prefer to work alone. I keep my group of friends small but close. I can be a social butterfly when I want to be. My favorite place to be is Barnes & Noble. I like giving people advice. I'm very girly and enjoy makeup, hair, and fashion. I like making and selling things. I enjoy reading and writing. My favorite subject in school is English but I'm extremely good at Math.

So, that's a brief summary of my personality and I really hope someone can help! Thanks

In other news: Jeremy Lin is going to the Lakers. Lol. I was reading an Espn article about Jeremy Lin and all these dam* pop ups came up on Lebron James when I was in the middle of reading the article on my Nook tablet, and I had to keep clicking the back button to get back to the Jeremy Lin article. I'm cool with Lebron and he can do what he wants, but the media is so annoying and I'm trying to read something else in basketball news, but Lebron won't stop poppin up every dam* where. Just venting.

Way to learn spanish?

Hey, so i wan to learn spanish next summer and have a few ideas how to do so. Should I 1.) Use an app called Duolingo or 2.) another way? Please suggest the best way you learned. I found a kit at Barnes & Nobles called "Learn spanish in months" and the publisher is Sterling Innovations. Should I use that, because I want to be able to speak it decently in 3 months. Can Duolingo do that for me? Thank you In advance!

P.S. Also will spanish make Italian and French easier?

I'm thinking of buying the Acer Iconia A1-830 Tablet (8 inch) to use mainly as an E-reader.

It runs on Android, so I'm guessing I'll be able to download/read Nook books on it if I download the Nook app?

How to get more devices or faster service out of my wireless router?

I have a question about internet speed and wireless routers. I currently use Frontier (formerly Verizon) DSL for my internet and run everything thru a Verizon Wireless router. I have two Ipods, two Nooks, two smart TVs, a X-Box 360, A Playstation 3, and a regular computer that use the router for internet connection (not necessarily all at the same time). I have come to find that if one person runs Netflix through a TV or the Xbox then none of the other devices can connect to the intenet. I assume this is because the Netflix consumes too much bandwidth to run anything else. I have run Speedtest.org and have found that I only get about 2 Mbps download speed. My question thus is this… Will a better router solve the problem or do I need to switch to a different internet service (cable for example) to get faster downloads and more devices. Thanks

Confused about a first date with this boy?

Hi! I can't seem to find peace with this situation because I never got a clear answer! I'm 16 years old & I just finished 11th grade. I met this guy at barnes& noble at a study group my friend set up. He introduced himself and we talked for a while and he asked a lot of questions about me. He seemed very nice, sweet, funny, and real. A week later after i got back to school(after midterm week) my friend who set up the study group texted me saying this guy"really liked me and thought I was really cute" and that he gave her his number in class to give to me. I then texted him and we talked for a while and the convo went rlly well and we shared so many simiarities. Then, two days later he texted me again and this time he asked me to hangout the next day which was friday, i said yes. So he texted me on friday and I'm like what are we doing and he's like "i thought we could watch a movie at my house" i'm thinking huh? I JUST met u… So i suggested Applebees instead and hes like my mom doesn't really want me going out tn. I decided to go to his house anyway bc i wanted to not pass up the opportunity to spend time with him and he seem genuine I get there and hes like"we can go to my room" im thinking wtf! We get in there and its super awkward and we decide to watch a movie downstairs and long story short we go back to his bedroom 2 minutes go by and he asked me to "hook up w him" what kind of hook up was he referring to? And why did he treat our "date" like this.

Coaxing a cat out of hiding?

My cat escaped into the basement (lots of nooks and crannies in the walls for her to hide in) and I can't seem to find her. She has been very sick recently and is on antibiotics and pain meds so it's important we get her out pretty soon so she can get those into her at the right time. Her pain medication should be wearing out right about now which will likely make her more unwilling to come out.

Unfortunately. We ended up needing to hammer a door off its hinges to get into the other section of the basement which I know likely just scared her more and even after all that we couldn't find her. We're giving her a few hours to calm down and hopefully come out of her own accord, but besides leaving out food for her is there any way to coax her out of hiding?
Added (1). Yeah that's our concern. I don't think she's quite at "dying" level yet because she had perked up considerably. I'd feel MUCH better if she was up here with me though. I'm not going to be able to rest until she is.
Added (2). She went days without eating at all and was completely lethargic and refusing to move or acknowledge anything that happened around her. If she reverts back to that then honestly all hope is lost…

How to get rid of bed bugs and not let them come back? Is what I'm doing right?

Ok, so I have seen around 4-6 bugs on my bed. I'm not sure if they are bed bugs of not… But I'm pretty sure they are. I just have like 3 of them. I steamed my bed. I'm going to steam the floor, clean out the back of my bed, and strip and reorganize my room. I'm just so tired. I have been sleeping in my nook room for 4 months now. I just want to get things back to normal where I can sleep, and play in my room. I'm only ten, and I need help. Thanks for any help!
Added (1). My bed is one that is real solid wood. It's been here for 10-15 years. I can't afford to get a new one.
