Can I self publish an ebook on multiple platforms?

I have a novel that I am preparing to publish as an ebook on several different platforms. So long as I don't choose the exclusivity options (I know that the Kindle KDP program requires that), am I able to self publish on the Nook Kindle, Kobo, SmashWords, and Apple? Or do any of these have specific exclusivity requirements that I must comply with?

Will my book really be signed?

So I ordered a book today off of Barnes and Nobles website. (The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning) Which I pre-ordered. But anyway, I got it for the same price as the regular hardcover, but it said it would be signed by the author Chris Colfer. It said it was a limited time offer, since they only had a few copies available, but I was wondering if it was going to be really signed, or if it was going to be one of those cheap, signatures, that are typed on a computer? Please help, I would like to know your thoughts.

Where can i buy/order a new nook screen?

I dropped my nook and cracked the screen a bit ago and i want to replace my screen but not the actual nook, even thouh that might be cheaperI think it is a color because it is in color and i can play games and read on it. It is about 4 inches along the bottom and 7 inches up the side (approximately).

Nook refuses to charge?

I think I have a nook hd, and it just refuses to charge. Whenever I plug it in, the light turns green, which means it plugged in, but its as if the nook doesn't recognizes it. If the light is amber then it charges, but it won't. At certain oitlets it works, but then at others it doesn't, and if I go to an outlet that worked before, it refuses.

Is The Scorch Trials book of The Maze Runner series by James Dashner worth reading?

I just finished reading "The Maze Runner" and I'm trying to figure out if it is worth my time to read the rest of the 3 book series. The reasons for why I am hesitant to read the second and third books of this series are as follows:
1) I read the entire Divergent series and although I really enjoyed the first book, the second and third books were just not up to par.
2) This seems to be a trend in sci-fi trilogies; the first book is great, while the second and third books of the same series are just not. Tell me if James Dashner's books are an exception to the rule!

Lastly, sorry if I insulted your favorite book if it is part of a trilogy or whatever, I just need someone's frank opinion on whether I should finish the entire series. (Please use kind words ;)

P.S. I've already tried reading some of the reviews on the Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites, but the ones explaining their recommendations for the book in full detail contain spoilers.

I am 16 years old, I live in Illinois, and I'm interested in applying for a job at Barnes & Noble. What is the title of the basic position that I would probably start at and what would I do? This would be my first job so I have very limited experience; I just really like to read so I think I would enjoy this job. What qualities/expertise will they probably be looking for? Should I apply online or in-store? Also, would I need to get working papers? I tried checking on the Illinois department of labor website but I couldn't find anything. Need to find an app that helps with book information?

I was at a store a week or so ago that sells books. This woman that was next to me I watched picked up a book that had no information and used her phone to take a picture of it and I watched as she was able to download information for the book to decide if she wanted it or not.
I was wondering if anyone knew of this app. I didn't think to ask her for it at the time and I also didn't want to be nosey.
If not could anyone recommend an app that just give you the information on books such as its summery and perhaps reviews? I do not need an ereader app as I have a nook and do not want/need one on my phone!

Problem with my tablet?

Ok so this might sound dumb but I'm curious. I have just recently started reading the divergent series and I bought the trilogy collection on my tablet to read. The description said there were 1632 pages in the collection. However, when I open the book it shows that there are only 703 pages even though all the reading material is contained. What is up with that? This has happened before when I had a nook and I've always been curious as to why that happens.

Nook simple touch screen frozen?

I have a plain nook simple touch. It worked fine earlier. Now the screen is frozen on the water fall screen saver and won't move. It won't shut down or unlock. It did slide off of a counter earlier thanks to my dog. However it only fell about 3 feet and onto carpet. Screens not cracked or anything. How do I unfreeze it? I'm really hoping its not broken.

Is it crazy to buy books you already own?

I have books and with most I'll have one or two in paperback and the rest in hard and it bothers me because they just look weird next to each other so I either want all the books in the series to be either paper or hard. So if I have more in hard then the ones not in hard I'll re buy in hard and if I have more in paper then I'll re buy the ones not in paper in paper. Is that totally crazy? I have the mortal instrument series and it's all in paper the only one I don't have is the last book so I'll have to wait to get it when it comes out in paperback. I want to get the infernal devices but I want those in hardback because their covers are pretty and I like hardback more but then I think it will not go with the mortal instrument series so I want the one series in hard but I already own most of the series in paper but then also I don't want to get the last book until it's in paper but who know how long that will take so I might not be able to get it for a while. I feel like it's totally insane to want to buy the entire mortal instrument series in hardback when I already own all but one in paper. Is that totally insane? What do you think I should do? Note that I haven't read the series yet because I've been wanting to get out the other stuff I've been reading out of the way so I could just go in order and not stop. On that note should I read the infernal devices first then mortal instruments or the other way around or in the order they came out?

How to watch english DUBBED anime on hulu plus?

i just signed up for hulu plus (at the roccomendation of a friend) mostly for the anime. But the anime i tried to watch were all subbed. Generally i prefer dubs (if i want to READ the story, i'll READ the manga:p)

anyway. The only 2 anime i checked so far were Blue Exorcist, and Sword art online. Both were subbed. But i know that the shows have an english dubbed version (they play on toonami. And BlueX is even in the middle of the season right now).

i just want to know if all the anime are subbed? And if not/if i AM able to watch the dubbed version, how (keeping in mind im watching on a nook)

How to use a shower rod as a closet rod?

Hi guys. I have a small nook in my room and wanted to use it as an extra storage space for some hanging newborn clothes. I had an extra shower curtain rod hanging around so I thought I could just use it, so I put it up between the two walls, and the second I put any weight on it, it falls down. I don't really have the option to anchor it into the wall on either side (like with closet flanges), but I was wondering if reinforcing it by holding it up with cord or something in the ceiling may help? If anyone has any options or suggestions, I'm open to hearing anything to see what works best! Thanks!
