I am 16 years old, I live in Illinois, and I'm interested in applying for a job at Barnes & Noble. What is the title of the basic position that I would probably start at and what would I do? This would be my first job so I have very limited experience; I just really like to read so I think I would enjoy this job. What qualities/expertise will they probably be looking for? Should I apply online or in-store? Also, would I need to get working papers? I tried checking on the Illinois department of labor website but I couldn't find anything. If you have any other tips for me, please share them. Thank you!
