What does this mean? Hamster talking to Rat?
In our spare room we have 2 rats in a cage together, and on the other side of the room a syrian teddy bear hamster. Just recently after owning them for many months I noticed that they were squeaking or talking to each other.It was hard to catch but once you noticed it was hard not to notice.It mainly happens at night and lasts for up to an hour. They take turns squeaking back and forward.It's always the same rat, the other one does not partake in the conversation or whatever the communication is.
Is it an aggressive or stay out of my territory kind of call? The rat just lays there with it's head up, but the hamster frantically checks every nook and cranny in her cage running around and squeaking back. On some occasions I can squeak into the room and if either the rat or hamster replies the other one hears it and will sometimes start squeaking as well.It's very difficult to get one of them to reply to one of my squeaks but if for example the hamster hears me and realizes I am trying to communicate and squeaks back. Why did I find a laboratory in my basement?
We were moving furniture in the finished basement of our dream home, but a bookshelf fell against the drywall and made a huge crack in the wall. Investigating further, it was apparent that the previous owner had walled off some sort of doorway in the concrete block behind the drywall with plywood. Behind the plywood was a crudely cut hole in the concrete block doorway to a small rough hewn room beneath the concrete slab foundation of our kitchen nook. The room even had electric lights installed with primitive wiring.
Within the room was a strange intoxicationg ammonia like odor, and within the room were all kinds of "scientific devices" and chemicals. The room contained what looked like a whole bunch of computers connected together by a bunch of wires. Below the computers on the desk there was a whole bunch of books on cyber security and s bunch of stuff about "pick up artist tactics".
On the other side of the room, there was a workbench with all kinds of beakers and test tubes. Below the workbench was what looked like a grill tank. The only actual chemicals I found was a canning jar full of little red pills, a drawer filled with white crystals and all kinds of pills, a strange ameythest like gemstone, Pharmacy bottles containing Adderall, Risperdone, Fluvoxamine, and "generic oxytocin injection", a small camping propane cylinder with out a label, but marked, "Hydrazine" with sharpie, a jar full of what smelled like baby oil with a bunch of strange coiled metal foil floating in it, a bunch of dark purple crystals in another jar. I also found about fifty vitamin bottles filled with a strange bright red liquid that had a bleach/gasoline/alcoholic smell to it, and all kinds of electronic curcuit boards, a soldering iron, and what looked like a blow torch.
I took the gem, thinking it was a valuble gem and placed it in my jewelry box, but i corroded my juicy couture charm bracelets just by sitting in the drawer. After hearing this, my husband turned on the power to the lab and started experimentng and trying to figure out what the previous owner used the laboratory for. When I found out what he was doing, I saw that he dropped the ametheyst like stone into the bottle of strange red liquid, and that the mixture was bublling and changing color.and then burned rapidly, leaving behind an orange powder on the inside of the flask as well as a yellowish white crystal in the bottom of the flask, while leaving the ameythest like gem unchanged.
As soon as I saw this, I told him to stop experimenting, but he had already started another reaction, he apparently put a bunch of white crystals, ammonia, half the jar of red pills, a bunch of the pharmaceuticals, the purple crystals, all the results from the previous reaction, and a random handfull of a bunch of different pills from the draw in some strang flask with a bunch of tube attached to it. The resulting reaction got extremely hot once he threw in half the metal from the baby oil jar. The reaction started emitting strange green fumes, and we ran from the lab. We had to ventillate the basement, and once we returned, we saw that the gem was unchanged, but the flask was full of a bunch more crystals as well as a bunch of other powders, and fumes that had a sickeningly sweet odor, and seemed to put us in a stupor.
I finally got it through him to stop messing with the lab, and told him that he was not a scientist and shouldnt be messing with these things. He then said that he tried to check the computer systems for information, but everything was encrypted with some sort of 8192 bit private key encryption.
What the heck was the previous owner doing down here, and how do we clean this up, does this crudely constructed room present a risk to the house above it, could the concrete slab under this part of our house crack. What do I do about this lab, and what was the prevous owner using this lab for? Can you possibly identify eack of the chemicals that I listed above, what were the strange pills and crystals I described? What are those pharmaceuticals meant for?

Ok past few days I was at my dads and downloading apps worked just fine. I just got to my moms yesterday and today I decided to download an app.At first it said unable to purchase. Nook Color Touch Screen?
I just got a Nook Color online, the Nook itself works, The battery is good we let it charge and everything. The only problem is the touchscreen is unresponsive. We contacted the seller and he said the touch screen is disabled. I was wondering if anyone could help me or direct me to a forum or thread to help me with this problem? I would really like to use it and not have to send it back.

How to root nook color BNTV250 v1.4.1?
I've looked on the nook devs website and began gathering the required resources and noticed it has not been updated to accommodate any version of the nook beyond 1.1 and this makes me more than uneasy. I've begun looking up roots for v1.4.1 and have found some that look promising, but the process is much more detailed and likely more prone to error if mis-stepped. I want to know if the nookdevs process works just the same despite version and/or if there's another site with more recent directions.

Is it possible to swallow a retainer?
My friend is staying at my house and she can't find her bite plane witch is about the same size as a bottom retainer. We know for sure its in the house somewhere but we can't find it. The last time she remembers having it is is last night and we havent left the house since then. We've litterally looked in every nook and cranny but we cant find it.At this point we're wondering if she swallowed it in her sleep.Is this possible? Has any one every swallowed a retainer?

I always get called a nerd and sometimes it bothers me. I mean I'm 21 years old, I have a good life, job, and an amazing boyfriend. I'm very girly I love doing my hair and all that stuff. And I love anything pink :) But then I also love video games, mainly world of Warcraft. Green stuff (possibly mold) growing in water dish?
Okay so I have a bearded dragon who likes to lay in a water dish, but I noticed it has some wierd green stuff in it? Manga on the Nook Glow?
I understand that you can scan manga or download the pdf's, but here I'm talking about the manga you actually buy for the Nook from Barnes and Nobles. I have two questions: 1. Can you read that manga on a non-color Nook? The website says it's "available on Nook devices and apps" and then lists Nook Color, Nook Tablet, and Nook for Android. Will it work on a Nook Simple Touch? and 2. Does it work well on the models it can be read on? Is it laggy/slow or poor quality?

Can I legally sell pictures that I take, of other businesses buildings (and Logo)?
This is the 2nd question I've posted, and I'm beating around the bush of giving out my exact business idea.
If it were a still photo, or video, that I SHOT, could I in turn make money off my photography, even if what is pictured is not mine.
Along with the photo/video, I would include my input (good or bad) about their building/structure/logo.
The BIGGEST example I could think of, could APPLE sue me if I sold a photo of their building, which included their logo? or that photo was the cover of a Book I intended to sell at Barnes & Noble? B-U-T, I took the picture, in a public place.
References/Resources would be a huge help! Thank you very much!

Q tip stuck in nook color headphone jack?
My headphone piece broke off into my heaphone jack or input months ago and I thought I could let it go and not get it fixed or replaced. I was wrong. I came across this trick on youtube where you can get it out with a q tip and super glue. Tried it once, it failed. Tried it again and now its stuck and its too small to get out by any means.Is there a way to fix this, get someone to fix this, or did this void my 2 year warranty with Barnes and Noble? Any help would be nice.

Do i NEEED a credit/debit card for color nook?
Help please? Today my dad recently got me a new color nook for an early christmas present and i tried downloading a FREE app but said i need a regestered credit card. I dont want my dad to regester his card because hed be pisse* if someone stole his identity and i care and dont want it to happen! I dont have credit/debit because im 13! Is there any way to just download it if its free or can i just get a gift card and if i can whats it called? Thanks in advance

How to sell 1000 candy bars?
Well i want to make 500 dollars to buy the new ipod touch, to buy some books from barnes and noble, and to not keep asking my mom for money when i hangout with m friends! So right now i have 2 boxes of candy bars like hersheys, reeses cups, twix, snickers, kit kat, 3 musketeers and milky way. Each box has 18 candy bars and each box costs 11 dollars.i want to sell like 100 chocolate bars a week so in a month i have like almost 200 dollars.i reallynwant an ipod touch and i cant get it for christmas because my family thinks im going to lose it since i got my ipod touch 4g stolen.Do you think i will sell door to door? i know its not safe but my neighborhood is really sqfe and i will have my phone at all times plus my bro is coming with me.i was also thinking of selling at school. My nook color doesn't connect to my internet?
Anytime i try to connect my nook to the internet it will connect for like 30 seconds and looses the signal i can be literally 5 feet away from my router and it still won't connect.so if anyone knows how to fix this it will be super greatly appreciated

Which job would be best?
I turned sixteen at the end of the summer and I want to get a job this summer. There's this outdoor mall 10 minutes away from me that has a lot of stores. The places the hire 16 year olds are: justice, Barnes and noble, AMC movie theatre, Delia's, chico's, Claire's, Aeropostale, and jcpennies.
Sorry that's a long list but assuming I could choose any (which is unlike that they'd all be hiring) which one would you choose? I'm worried that if I worked at Delia's or stores like that I'd have to wear mostly their merchandise.

I enjoy reading when on vacation, and I am going to Singapore on Thursday. Problem is, the books I want to bring can't be found in any bookstore here in Denmark! And deliveries from online stores cannot make it here before Wedensday when I leave.
So I would like to look for these books in Singapore: I am looking for "No Dress Rehearsal" and "Cracks in my foundation", both by Marian Keyes.
Since I can't find them in Denmark, I think I would need a big bookstore, like Barnes & Nobles, or Dussmann or something.
