I'm scared in my own house?

For the past couple of days I've been hearing strange noises in my house and other kinds of things, it could be because I watched a couple of scary movies within the past week. But I've been hearing things like footsteps,sounds in the wall and etc. I thought I heard footsteps one night it was in my room it freaked me out could just me be my vivid imagination I get freaked out by the little ist things! I know it's just me how can I be more comfortable in my house? I'm laying off the scary movies for a while XD

Dead cable TV/internet wall outlets/jacks. Can Comcast fix it?

So I have 3 cable outlets on my wall in the living room. I just decided to get cable TV and cable internet, I hooked everything up correctly, had customer service walk me through everything when none of it worked, and they deemed my wall cable outlets dead. Unfortunately, my cell phone died towards the end of the call and I couldn't ask them if they could fix it.

I live in an apartment building. Do I have to go through the leasing office to get it fixed or through Comcast? How much would it cost and how long would it take? Is it a relatively easy fix?

How much should I sell my short stories for on amazon?

I have a couple of short stories that I have written that aren't suitable for the collection I've been writing for my children, but I don't think are suitable to be sent to any of the magazines that I know of. This is due to the length or the content as one story is rather dark and the other is 3500 words long. All the stories I have written are under 4,000 words.
My husband has suggested that I self publish them on amazon just so they are put to some use and I can earn a little extra money though I do understand it won't be much but it may be enough to buy my kids an icecream.
Added (1). I don't think they will work together, both are completely different genres. One is a romance and the other is dark.

Why is learning to draw so overwhelming?

My two best subjects are English and Math, but I've been trying to learn how to draw for a couple of years. And it is all so overwhelming because there are so many little nooks and crannies to even draw the human body. My art style is a little diluted right now because I'm cramming too many art styles in my images and I'm getting very, very discouraged.

I just don't understand how anybody draws these incredible works of art I see on YouTube or Pinterest…
Feels like learning to draw will take decades… Calculus seems so much easier right now!

Kindle or nook or what tablet should i get?

I LOVE TO READ! I can read 400-600 page books in one day if i keep reading and right now i am reading off my tiny ipod touch in ibooks and i want a bigger screen but at the same time i like how you get free books on itunes and I would like that to still be possible if i get a kindle or nook. I also want one with a lot of storage space because i have over 100 books on my ipod plus apps and music (16gb). It needs to be able to hold a good charge, and i need to be able to read outside (kindle paperwhite i heard is best for that). I do love actually holding a book in my hand but i simply don't have any room for books in my room and it would be nice to bring to college and have as many books as i want at my hand. (sigh) my mom has the first kindle but i don't want to use hers because it is hard to read outside and it isn't very fast it lags a little… Any suggestions?

Why did my nook color reset?

On Sunday my sister threw my nook color and it started making weird stuff. It was also making weird stuff on Monday, Tuesday, and today. When I was using my nook color today it froze so, I turned it off and when I tried to turn it on I couldn't and it said that it needs to reset so, it started reseting. I had a lot of books and apps and I want them back! What should I do? Why did it reset?

Why am I not consistent through out my life?

I begin a new work, i ll be motivated,strong in my taughts at the beginning later i lose intrest and leave it. What might be the reason,each and everything in my life i have done everything in parts not a thing i have completed successfully. I am 18 years old, or in future will i improve? I am very lazy, get out of focused easily, get demotivated before completeing my goals.

Should I use ebooks or traditional books for college?

I'm an incoming freshman and I'm only taking classes part time (English and Trigonometry). I considered using Chegg.com for renting textbooks, but I recently discovered a program called Yuzu (which is associated with Barnes and Noble) to rent e-textbooks onto my Windows 8 tablet. I checked out the application and it seemed promising since it has the books I need.
I want to know if it would be better to get my textbooks physically, or if should I use my tablet as my source for study.
If anyone has used e-textbooks in class before, whether on a tablet or on a kindle. I would like to know what you would advise and what your experience was like.

How do books on the NOOK HD work?

I want to buy a Nook HD, but I'm not sure how they work. If I bought a book on it, what happens when I finish it? Does it disappear, or can I reread it at some point?

Why can't I read at home?

I'm a huge reader, and I mean HUGE. I read whenever I get the chance to. One thing I've come to notice is I can really only read a book if I'm in school, or at a library or something. Everytime I try reading when I'm home, or at the beach, or anywhere else, I get bored faster. Usually when I'm in school, if I had enough time, I could read a book in one sitting. When I try reading at home, or at the beach or something, I'd be lucky if I can read 50 pages. Why is it this happens? I usually have boring summers, and it would be nice to be able to read a book at home, instead of having to go to the library everytime I want to read, or my local Barnes & Noble.

Are borders rewards cards still worth something?

I was looking through my wallet and found that I still have my borders rewards cards from when the place was still alive. I know Borders/Waldenbooks closed 3 years ago, but I saw somewhere that it may be able to be used at Barnes & Noble. Is this true or false? Am I better off just shredding my cards and getting a B&N membership?

What's going on with my PC?

So recently, one of my friends came over and we did some editing together. He went on my PC, and downloaded Sony Vegas pro because he didn't like after effects on my PC. He used a "crack" or something from these people called "KHG team". The crack (I think that's what he said) worked apparently and Sony Vegas pro 13 came up. Shortly after, I uninstalled it because I didn't want cracked sh@t on my PC. Now my PC is really slow, and I mean really slow. I have 8gbs of ram and a quad core 3.8 ghz processor, and my computer is just weird now. Upon start up, it uses 70% of CPU & 40-50% of ram. Way more than it used before this crack. I can't even seem to hover over an icon without lag. Using windows 7, and have tried 5 different anti viruses and they didn't find anything. Can someone please help.
