Where can I find studio Ghibli films?

I really want my Mom and Dad to see some of there movies but we couldn't find the ones we were for at the Barnes and noble that we have where we live and we can by them but they are only on Blue-ray and as my Mom and Dad have a Blue-ray I don't and im the one who is going to watch them so much that my older Brother goes crazy and try's to KILL ME (he hates me but then again I hate him XD so who cares right) so I can't do that can I so where can I get these films made by Disney's Studio Ghibli

That's all I think of what I want to see with my family and yes I know its a lot but most of look like really good movies and the ones i'd seen my Mom and Dad hadn't and I think they well get a kick out of them:) so please do help me find these movies I really want so see them! And I barley get to spend with my Mom and Dad without them yelling at me when they are working but they said once we get the movies well watch them so do help and thank you so much for reading;)

Library/Barnes and noble employment - NYC?

I currently work at an airport and the company I work for has been quite disorganized as of late. Paychecks coming up short and hours being cut tremendously. I have a huge urge to work in a book store or library after a while of thinking about it. I love the quiet atmosphere most libraries have and would love to be a librarian assistant. I feel the same towards barnes and noble and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work for them. I've tried calling multiple stores and libraries and have been told that many of the libraries employees are being cut. I've applied to two barnes and noble via monster, and so far no anwers. I guess I'll have to be lucky to find any library that needs a page, or any volunteer work done. Would anyone in the nyc area know if there are any barnes and noble or libraries hiring or that would at least accept volunteer work until I can get job in one of these areas. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've worked at taco bell for 4 months, tradefair supermarket for a year and 2 months, and have been working at the airport now for 7, going on 8 months, so I do have some customer service experience, and am willing to work any position at a book store or library.

Hello everyone, im updating my bookshelf and i have this one particular book that i read a few years back "Mummy doesn't love you" by Alexander Sinclair and i was wondering if anyone knew of books similar to it? True based stories (preferred) with lots of details, i love a book that i can get real life pictures in my head as i read. This book is very, very disturbing so please don't think im some sort of freak who like to read about things like that, that's not the case its just something i enjoy reading because of the intensity and how much i can sometimes relate to it being a victim of rape and abuse it does help to know there are many other people who has been through worse than me and lived to tell a story.anyways enough blabbering, im shopping on Barnes & Noble if that helps.

How to ask for the manager?

So I submitted a question as to if I should call the manager of a part time job position that I want from Barnes and Nobles after handing in my job application.

I decided to call but I don't know how to ask for the manager, I didn't ask for his name and what if he's busy. I know when I call the store, it's not going to directly dial me to the manager so the person answering might ask me why I need to speak to him so how do I ask for the manager? Hey I have a nook HD and today I search up how to install java on any tablet online and I found out about this app. What it does is basically turn your tablet into a pc, it installs java on your device. This opens the door to online gaming, and I mean runescape. Like seriously I find it amazing that I can play runescape on my nook! Now the problem is the app cost thirty bucks, not too expensive but its an app, there ARE NO refunds. And I was wondering can you update java on it too.My birthdays next month and I wanna know is this app really worth it. Mostly for the runescape. My nook color wont turn on?

So i just got my nook color from a friend, a friend gave it to them but they didnt use it.i just a had it for about 4 days and shuts off at a battery level of 20.ive tried to hold the power and home button wont reset, ive had it plugged in but nothing happens.could some one please tell me what is up with it?

Why is my version of Les Miserables so long?

I got Les Mis on my nook and the version I got is over 4000 pages. But I went to the book store and saw it there and it was only about 1000 so I was wondering why mine would be so much longer?

Help in transferring ebook to nook with glow light?

I'm having some problems figuring out how to put ebooks into my nook. This is what I have so far:

1. I downloaded the ebook onto my NOOK study application (I have a macbook pro).
2. I can read the book on NOOK study. However when I go to finder --> documents --> My Barnes & Noble eBooks --> and then the PDF document of the book, I find that when I open the PDF, it's empty… None of the pages have anything written on it.
3. I've also tried copying that PDF file to my NOOK directly (I hooked it up to my computer via USB). When I try to "read" it on my actual NOOK, it just says "Error Dialog: User not activated".

I'm not very good with transferring files to my NOOK because I've always bought my books on my NOOK itself.It'd be really great if you can explain step-by-step how to pretty much do everything. Thank you!

What are good ways to make game apps?

I'm part of a team of people interested in making the first of several games. I've used ren'py before to make visual novels, however, we are interested in making our game in such a way that we can get it out in as many ways as possible- like ios, pc, mac, android, nook and xbox live market place, to name some possibilities. We have our ideas set and are already working on a script and artwork. What would be a good way to get this out? We're open to looking into a variety of possible solutions, but aren't sure where to start. We do have adobe flash, but we aren't sure how easy or difficult it would be to convert a flash into an game across platforms. Again, we are open to other systems, but since this would be our first commercial game, we don't have too much of a budget.

We want players to be able to save, interact with the characters, and have conditions- by that I mean that if they click on this object here, it will effect their options here. Or, if like a dating sim, they earn a certain amount of a certain stat, like intelligence for example, new possibilities or events might open up for them.

Can anyone give us some advice? I'm the computer literate one and have been designated in charge of this aspect of putting our game together.

We've looked into Game Maker, actually, and are considering it, however, to be able to make a cross platform game, you need to purchase the Master version which is $500, so we want to learn about all our options before hand.

While we do intend on making a good fun game, we want it to be simple and 2D- like most app games. We want to rely more on story, characters and player interaction to make it a strong game, rather than complex coding, graphics, etc. There are some really fun games out there that are actually pretty simple when you think about it, and since those are the sorts of games we like, those are what we'd like to make.It would be primarily story/text based with 2d art, 2d animations but with character interactions and such.

Facebook and the nook tablet problems?

So my girlfriend has a nook tablet and she is trying to access her facebook through the internet since there isn't an app. Everything works just fine but when she tries to open a message, it wont load it. Che has tried apps that are suppose to be for facebook messaging but none of them seem to help or work for her. We really want to be able to talk more on facebook rather than texting. Are there any different messaging apps or what could be the problem with the messages loading on her nook.

Nook simple touch is completely frozen, won't unlock or turn off?

My husband got me a nook simple touch for Christmas so I haven't even had it for a month yet. I pressed the little 'n' button but it stayed at the sleep screen. I tried pressing and holding the power button and it still didnt respond! I don't know what to do! I never dropped or damaged it! It always stayed in my nightstand drawer. I hadn't used it for a week and now it won't work!
Any ideas what I can do? I can get to the battery, as the whole nook seems to be sealed up so I cant

Nook vs Kindle Which to buy? First time e-reader buyer?

I have become very interested in purchasing an e-reader but I am a bit stumped between devices. I am not really a fiction reader and would mainly use the device for borrowing from the library. I probably will not buy many books but if I do storage of books may be a factor too. Also what if I loose my e-reader does one offer a back up for my books? I don't want to spend much money either so that's why I am looking at the basic kindle and nook.So as far as system glitches, ease of use and customer support which is better?
Added (1). My libraries use overdrive and it seems all formats are used. But may vary depending on the book. I have noticed maybe a few titles use limited formats. I lean towards kindle since i am really familiar with amazon but since I never had one I am not really sure what I want or don't want.

I used to get it at Starbucks inside a Barnes and Noble. I forget the brand name but the flavor is called "Blue and Yellow" or the reverse and has lavender in it. What is the best value cheap tablet?

I want a tablet computer, but I don't want to pay anything NEAR an ipad's cost.As of right now it looks like the three best cheap tablets (about 159) are the Nook Tablet, the Amazon Kindle Fire, and the Nexus 7. Just from a little research I've done it looks like the kindle fire is the worst of the three options. And between Nexus 7 and Nook Tablet I'm leaning towards Nook, because I already have a nook ereader and like it, and it seems like a good option. However, does anyone have any information they could share that would either encourage or dissuade my opinion? or is there any other tablets of similar or reasonable price that I should look into?

I want to leave my job soon.It's not fun anymore (I'm young and I work to pass time, not for money) and now that I've gotten to know everyone at my Jimmy John's… they're mostly, well… jerks. :x

Everyone's a know-it-all and you get told 100 different ways to do something.
Some just flat out look you in the eye and don't reply when you ask them something. How is that ok?
Today, I burnt myself bumping into the oven and no one cared. One guy just said, "The oven is hot-- who would have guessed it??" and went about his business…

Maybe the fact that I'm southern and now live in Colorado has something to do with it. T_T

Where can I work where kind, genuine employees are kept on and others are let go? I would like to work at Barnes & Noble, but I don't imagine they care any more than most workplaces. Ideas? ^^

Has anyone tried to see if they can read eTextbooks at BN stores? I'm not sure if that's possible because I don't know if eTextbooks are considered Nook Books. I want to know because I just bought a Nook that should be coming in soon. And, I would like to view an eTextbook to study when I'm at my college BN bookstore.

What is a 'Member number' for Barnes and Noble?

I bought a membership card in the store today. Right now, I'm on their site in the check out. Under shipping options, it asks if I'm already a member and to type in my member number. I've tried the numbers on the back of my card but it keeps saying it's invaild. I've tried it with and without spaces.Is the number on the back of the card not the one they want?
