Did the devil give me that thought?

This question is directed at Christians. Atheists you can opine, but you won't the best answer. But thank you for your perspective anyway.

In advance of the movie "Heaven is For Real" I downloaded the book to my nook last night. The book starts out by describing a series of most unfortunate events that befell the Burpo (real name, I couldn't make it up) family, and the financial toll it took on their family, and my FIRST thought was, "Well, y'all are well-heeled now."

Is there Biblical proof the Earth is millions of years old? Oh and is my theory plausible?

I haven't even hit my 20s (or 18th, or 17th, or 16th bday) yet so bare with me for the moment.

I've done a little bit of research on the creation of Earth these past few days and even spent an hour in Barnes & Noble looking for every version of the Bible I could find, even different in languages, and I noticed something. People think that faith and science can never mix, and well I don't think that's necessarily true. I opened up to Genesis in every different version I found, there was a separation between the #1 and #2 verse and was kept consistent throughout.

"1 in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters…"

I started wondering why that was and thought of why in writing do we indent or start an new paragraph so I asked my teacher. Her response: Dialogue or the passing of time. We all know from science that the world is millions of years old when we study the layers of the Earth and rock formations.
So if God makes everything perfect then why is the earth formless in the next verse?

I assume we've all heard of the Devil (Dan, Dan, Daann! AKA Lucifer) In the Bible it talks about a war between heaven and hell and how Lucy caused the fall of like 2/3rds or 1/3rds of angels to Earth. Now angels in their true forms are said to be as tall as sky scrapers and very powerful, like balls of energy. And the dinosaurs were said to wiped out by a meteor hitting the earth and blocking out the sun.

You see where I'm going with this?

(how big are meteors?)You have thousands of these "meteors" hitting earth, causing major damage. The dinosaurs are gone and the start of life is destroyed in process. And then we have the next
verse.

Is my theory even plausible? Tell me if it isn't but be nice cause I'm sensitive.

How early is too early to say I Love You?

I believe in love at first sight; I'm a mature, young adult in high school. When I saw her for the first time, I literally could not move. I could not speak. I believe I had a deep love for this woman's appearance. Getting to know her more and more, that initial love grew stronger and stronger. I've been conversing with this woman, sleuthing every nook and cranny of her personality; I absolutely love getting lost in her mind, as well as her eyes. We are currently dating, and I need to know if I've said it too soon, as I've explained all of the above to her. She said it back to me, also. Is this unhealthy? Was it too soon?

How do I fix this?

Here's what I did, fellow Nook owners.
1) click the "APPS" icon, bottom of screen
2) click the icon to the bottom left of screen (4 horizonal bars)
3) select "manage content for profiles"
4) click Apps (probably located below "Magazines")
5) scroll down, and be sure to check the following:

-Chrome
-Google Settings
-Google+
-YouTube

6) Click "Save", bottom right of screen

YouTube, as well as your browser should work now.

How to pay taxes on Ebook Sales?

I've made four Latin to English translations, and want to put them on Kindle, Amazon, and Google Play.

I am American, live in West Virginia.

I have a pretty bad physical disability, and just recently climbed out of homelessness, so getting a accountant is a luxury I cant afford.

I need to know what happens tax time, is it every quarter, or once a year? Will Amazon and Barnes and Noble send me a tax-form? Can I file this form like a W-2?

Or is it made really hard, and I should just intuitively know what paper forms to fill out, and add everything up in my head percentages and decimal points, and if I forget a form or misplace a decimal point, I go to jail?

I suck at math, and need this to be simple. I have everything ready except the unknowns about taxes. I really dont want to sit down 4 times a year and try to figure out how much medicare, social security, obama care tax, I owe per 5 dollar book, especially if I might only sell 50-100 books a year.

I sometimes never find what I'm looking for on Netflix or Amazon Instant Video or Redbox?

I often do a search for a movie that seems really exclusive such as Batman Returns from 1992, the Addams Family from 1991, 101 Dalmations from 1996, or something like Leonard Part 6 from 1987. I run the search query, and it turns out that the movie is not available to watch instantly. I seem to have concluded that Amazon and Netflix probably don't care about the old classics and instead specialize exclusively in current TV drama. I never see old movies on Redbox, only new releases. Are we meant to forget that Casablanca or Citizen Kane ever existed at all? There are alternatives such as the video store, the book store, and the record store, but several people are saying that those are going extinct. Some websites are even making the ridiculous assumption that DVDs and Blu-rays are extinct. How can they be? I've seen them at my local Barnes and Noble. My latest purchase there was the Criterion Blu-ray edition of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Is there something about marketing I don't understand? How came Amazon Instant Video and Netflix specialize exclusively in current TV dramas, and Redbox specializing exclusively in selling current movie releases and not classics like The Wizard of Oz or the original 1933 King Kong? Are they deliberately trying to make all those movies lost and forgotten, only keeping up with the times? Are there other ways to get the movies I want if they're not available on a streaming service?

Best Tablet/E-Reader for dedicating only to reading?

I have an iPad that I bought a few years ago and it's perfect for taking class notes, annotating documents, reading textbooks and other general use, but I have found that I don't love using it to read common books. I have an extensive library of books in PDF/Mobi/epub forms on my external hard drive and I have decided I would like to get a device dedicated to the sole purpose of reading and storing my library.

What I'm hoping by asking this question is to receive some feedback and insight from the community here that has had personal experience with these devices to help me make a sound decision. I have heard great things about both the Nook GlowLight and the Kindle Paperwhite, but I kind of lean towards options such as the Nook HD simply because I enjoy the option of storing my magazine subscriptions as well. But i'm curious if choosing a tablet display will shorthand my reading experience compared to the newest e-ink alternatives.

Thank you all in advance, any advice given will be taken into consideration by me and be well appreciated!

P.S. Because I already have a laptop and ipad, what I'm looking for doesn't need to have an enormous capability range, I simply want a good dedicated e-reader, I will never use it for movies/games/etc.

How to post on Instagram without using the app?

So I don't have a cell phone, all I have is my Nook. I can't download instagram because it is not compatible on my devise. Is there an app or something that I can use so that I can post my photos to instagram, without using the actual app? Please help me. I love instagram and would love to be able to post again. Barnes and Noble rejected?

I'm fifteen years old, and I finished writing and publishing my 5th novel. It's called "Crestfallen - Solitude." Its a trilogy. It's on the bares and noble website but not sold in stores. I sent Barnes and Noble a request form to have my novel sold in stores, and they rejected me because they think that I'm inexperienced. What am I supposed to do now? I'm not inexperienced - I know what symbolism is and I wasted five years writing five novels. How can I get the book into stores? They're telling me that I need more attention on the book, but how am I going to get attention if it's only being sold online where no one can see it? Am I supposed to just give up on it?

Storing semi skilled milk in used glass bottles?

I buy 2x 4 pints semi skilled milk in farm foods,and I put them into 7 pint plastic milk containers and freeze them. It takes me 10 days to use them all up. I use the milk for cappuccinos and latte's.
I would like to use glass bottles as they are easier to clean (so many nooks a crannys in the plastic containers and it takes me forever to clean.
My problem is how to clean a glass vinegar bottle (to get the smell of vinegar removed.)
I would value some input,or is there an easier to clean the plastic pint milk containers
