Okay so this is sort of a random question:) We love Snape's character and we got to discussing how he might react to various technologies in the muggle world if he somehow got to experience them. I guess your views on this may partially depend on how advanced you feel wizard society vs muggle society is--a seeming debate among fans--but whichever side of it you fall on, you are welcome to give your opinion. Note: You can make some general comments about HP wizards if you want to, but we are really trying to emphasize Snape's character and any idiosyncrasies he might have about the tech. If you can picture any specific comments coming out of his mouth it would be fun to put them down.
Here's a muggle tech list, and/or feel free to add any other items you can think of:
Smartphones (cell phone + camera + GPS service + plus the App store), Computers/Ipads/Nooks, Internet (email, video chat, online banking/shopping, Google search, social media), Ipods/Itunes store/Pandora radio, Contact lens/Laser eye surgery, Guns (Handgun + automated + Sniper rifle), Nuclear weapons, Cloning/DNA manipulation, NASA space program (Lunar landing, Hubble telescope, International Space Station, Satellite voyages to the edge of solar system), Satellite network orbiting the earth, Flat-screen tvs/DVDs/Blu ray (also live daily news coverage), Imax dome, Airplanes, Nintendo, Illegal drugs, Credit Cards
Are we still the backwards Muggles? Or are we more worthy neighbors for wizards/witches now?
