I'm asking this because in a Japanese bookstore I go to, you have to show id to be able to buy yaoi. But in american bookstores, I don't have to even though I'm not 18 yet. I used to buy yaoi in my school uniform in borders and barnes and nobles.So does it matter if I'm 18 or not if I want to buy yaoi at acen or just an anime convention in general?
