I sprayed hairspray into my dryer without thinking about fires. Now I'm worried. Is wiping with water enough?
I was trying to get ink stains out and didn't research thoroughly enough before spraying. Also I sprayed directly into the whole back of the dryer, not just onto a cloth. I know now it was dumb, but is wiping with a wet cloth enough to prevent a fire the next time I plug it in and run it? They're all those holes and nooks and crannies that hairspray can go that my cloth can't.
