Buying used books from Barnes and Nobles?

I'm going to Vanderbilt this fall and I'm ordering my books.It seems a bit cheaper to get the used texts instead of the new ones, but can I guarantee them being in good shape?

At barnes and nobles, are all of agatha christies books in the mystery section?

I went to go buy a few of her books but in the mystery section there were only a few of her books, i would imagine that they would carry much more of her books in the store. When i got home i realized that maybe it was put under a different genre or something.It does seem unlikely to me though. Does anyone know?

Now with the Google play update for Nook HD+. can you play flash videos online?

Ever since the Google update (Google Play store, mail, and messenger etc.) I was wondering how to make the Nook HD+ can play flash videos? (maybe like the nexus 7? but, I do not have one so any help?)

Am I doing the right thing?

I've recently completed my second degree. I'm employed.
Just underemployed working in retail.

I've got 5 internships under my belt. 2 trips abroad.
A lot of interviews are coming my way. I've even gotten to second and third rounds.
I'm obviously qualified then right?

The economy is bad everywhere, but its better in another city in my state.
I'd like to transfer my current job to the other city (yes I can do this)
in hopes of having an easier time finding a second job (any kind will do right now) in that city.

I mean I'm having a hard time getting a job at Barnes & Noble.
I'm not a criminal either.

Is this a good idea? I have more friends and family there anyhow.

How to connect my Nook tablet to my moms HD Toshiba television and watch Netflix?

I got wifi on my nook tablet. I just registered for a free trial of Netflix on my moms regular computer. I have an auxiliary cord that would plug a cell phone to the aux port in the car.Is there any way I can hook my nook tablet to my moms Toshiba flat screen, and stream movies from the Nook Tablet Netflix app with the instant stream free trial that Netflix offers on my moms tv? Also, using that hdmi cable that came with my nook too.

I figured out how to charge the Nook with the small end of the hdmi cable plugged into the side of the tv, than the bigger end in the side of the Nook like a cell phone charging on a computer, but no matter what video source I select, I cannot pull up my nook tablet on the tv screen.It says no signal.

Will a nook color case fit a nook hd?

I want to get a nook color but all of the cases are pretty expensive and the nook color cases are a lot cheaper, so would a nook hd fit a nook color case? (Btw I'm buying my case from eBay )

What are in these huge churches?

All those giant cathedrals, and mosques, and temples, and all the other mega-buildings of worship… why are they so big? I can see maybe trying to show the glory of God but honestly I think it might also have something to do with impressing people and domination and fear. And God does not need a giant church to be worshiped.

Is it also for the huge crowds that they get?

Where do all those doors and passageways lead to? Is a lot of the space just attic space or air or does every nook and cranny have a purpose? Like a special room to hold the priest's clothes. And another room for the quarters of the monks and stuff. And a giant library. Etc. Are there churches like that that just endlessly go on with tunnels and passageways and doors and stuff?

Is it safe for a woman in a parking lot to be asked out by a stranger?

Real life situation. A young woman walks to her vehicle in the parking lot at Barnes & Noble. Suddenly, a man runs after the woman in the parking lot and says "I will regret it for the rest of my life if I don't tell you now, but you are beautiful." Then he gives her his phone number on a piece of paper and says to the woman "Call me, so I can buy you a drink." It is wise for the woman to accept the man's phone number without knowing anything about him or what his intentions are?

Some browser issues on nook hd plus tablet?

So, I have some websites that I wouldn't want other people to see on my search bar. Like I deleted my history but it still pops up when I search for a website in the search bar at the top. I'm on a Nook HD + tablet and the browser is a mobile version of Chrome. Please help!
