As I was browsing through the young adult section at Barnes and Noble I couldn't help but notice that almost 5/6 of the books were Twili ripoffs and cast full of Caucasian main characters. Of course, there might just be a lack of writers producing stories with main characters of minorities, but I can't help but wonder if its because publishers don't think such a book would sell.
Be honest, would you read a book with a really interesting plot, and a main character of a minority?
