Hi, I was planning on buying a kindle, until recently i've been hearing a lot that the screen tends to freeze after a year. I've been seeing lately the Nook advertised (I'm from the UK so it's only just been released over here) and I was wondering if anyone knew if they were any good as I've not been able to find any reviews on them.
Can you still download books from amazon on to them, or do you have to go through another electronic library?
Also, if I was to buy the Nook with the torch in it, is this still as good for your eyes as a kindle? I'm sure that I read that it is e-ink, but I wondered if because it had a torch, would that cause eye strain?
