I often purchase used books from book dealers listed on the Barnes and Noble website. Besides paying for the book, I also pay shipping charges. Shipping varies on whether book is paperback or hard cover. Many times I wait three weeks or sometimes a month or more before I receive book. Why is shipping time so slow for these dealers. A lot of times they will show book was sent out immediately. Yet buyers still have to wait weeks before book comes in.
