Book Store Conspiracy?

You guys remember the good ole' days in 2000-2005 where there was Hollywood Videos and Blockbuster Video and we all went to buy or rent movies or video games and now everything is digital and those 2 stores closed down almost everywhere in the United States by 2010 (I think, I am not sure) . As of now every book store is closing down at least in my area (northern california) and I am really depressed because I love books and I go to Barnes and Noble to read books all day long until I get bored or finish a 300-400 pages book and around 2008 when I was 8 years old there was this place called Borders and I don't know if it is still there in some parts of the United States but I know all of the ones in my area closed down and it hurted me because the Borders I went to was relaxing and there were a lot of chairs to sit down in. After I believe 4 years? (I still am not sure) Barnes and Noble came and took over Borders and now people go there to buy books and stuff. Now it is 2015 and barely any books stores are still out there at least in my area and Barnes and Noble is closing everywhere next to me and I am getting sad because what if Book Stores end up being like Movie stores. Like all Barnes and Nobles close down just like Hollywood videos and Blockbuster video. If this happens I don't know where to enjoy my solitude. I feel so depressed as a 16 year old and I wish there were more book stores but all of them closed down and still are. Will Bookstores close down at some point?
Added (1). Please tell me I am not the only one depressed about this because what if in 2017 there is not one Bookstore in the United States and I am mad because why is this happening?
