A nook or a kindle for a man with no arms?

My father is disabled, due to an accident some years ago he has no arms they are cut off at the shoulders. I love reading and my father would like to start but it's hard for him to turn the pages of smaller books. I was thinking about getting him a tablet specifically for reading something with large texts, maybe with voice guided help like siri. We have a home security system that is touch screen he is able to use with the help of a stylus. I was thinking he could also use one to use a tablet. I just don't know where to start, as I have a book but it is very old. Any suggestions would be appreciated thank you.
