"If you're having too much fun, it must be wrong?"
Plenty of their publications spend time bashing a wide variety of entertainment, which is probably where the stereotype came from that Jehovah's Witnesses are very boring people. (which I agree with)
But their magazines also make the claim that even 'wholesome' entertainment (which accounts for a very short list) can be reprehensible if one is doing that instead of doing their religious stuff.
They even limit what kind of sex can be had between married couples, thus proving that the Watchtower indeed invades every nook and cranny of their lives and Jehovah's Witnesses are not allowed to have privacy in any aspect at all of their lives.
So is the above statement about their view of fun correct?
