What are some public places with metal detectors when you walk in building?

I'm trying to meet with my ex husband in a public place that would require to walk through a metal detector and be around lots of people. I was wondering if Libraries, Barnes&Nobles, or similar places have them installed. I'm trying to get some important papers from him (he also wants to talk to me in person) but don't feel safe by myself so I will have a friend with me. I first thought of a restaurant but would feel safer knowing he is not carrying a hand gun. He is a controlling, manipulative and abusive man. I don't know how he's going to react when we meet so wanted to be prepared and be ready for anything unexpected he might do or say. Sorry I went too long but really wanted to meet at a safe place and felt anywhere there is metal detectors an or security might be the best public place to meet.

Michigan Booklovers - awesome book stores?

I am a huge lover of books, both new and used. I want to go on a road trip to any and all amazing book stores in Michigan but am looking for suggestions of where some are. I'm not looking for the typical "Barnes and Noble" type. I love unique places, tons and tons of books, used and/or cheap books, etc. Is there a website that lists book stores in Michigan? Or better yet, do any of you have any personal suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate it!

If I download an app on my android phone (from the google play store), can I also use it on my Nook HD tablet without purchasing it again?

How early should I apply for a summer job at Barnes & Noble?

I'm aiming to apply for a summer position at Barnes & Noble and was just wondering when it would be too early to apply for the job. I'm away at college at the moment, so that's why I'm hesitant to hand in an application right now but I don't want to be too late. Anyone know of any time frame that wouldn't get my application put in a file right away?

I want to buy the manga at a Barnes n Nobles or something, but was wondering if there is one big book of the entire AoT, or are there many books that you have to buy individually?

Can't remember the book name?

I was walking through Barnes and noble years ago and saw a book I think about high school students. A bad boy is being haunted by the popular girl/ cheerleader who had just died. I think the cover was them sitting on a bench and the ghost girl was floating or a little see through.

How to recover ALL of my data/files after trying to boot an SD card?

I'm somewhat knowledgeable about computers but I'm no expert so bare with me, I was asked to root an SD card using Win32DiskImager for a friend's Nook Color to give it all of the benefits of an Android phone. While doing so, I believe it unfortunately jumped to my USB Flash Drive. When I had saw what had happened, I noticed that my original flash drive location in "My Computer" had went from saying "Removable Disk G" to "boot G". This sucks because I had tons of scripts I need to print out as well as other things. Is there a way I could some how "unboot" my flashdrive so that it is back to saying "Removable Disk G" and NOT "boot G" and recover the files that were originally on there? Thanks!

I have a closet similar to that. Nothing special about it. I'm almost 16 and I can't really do any kind of like construction in there so how do you think I could make a cute little nook in there?

Why won't my Internet on my Nook Color load?

I've been playing with for about an hour and it's been fine all day until now. I waited another hour to try to see if it would work, and it won't.My router is fine, and I my signal is as high as it gets. I'm sure it's the Nook because I've tried countless websites and it's still stuck on the same one, and I'm on my laptop and it's working fine so it has to be the Nook. Has this happened to anyone one else? What can I do?
